The best restaurants serving Asian food in England

A very special place in the area. Beautifully designed restaurant with lovely sets in the surrounding garden, one of which is a huge handsome Buddha in a Japanese setting. Attentive helpful staff. Gorgeous food. Husband wasn’t initially keen on coming here but now we’re returning in a few weeks for his birthday meal.

This is a favourite restaurant of mine - great service and great food. More people should enjoy it. The place has just been redecorated and looks very well, that said the selling point is the delicious food.

This restaurant is no longer open so don't waste your time. The Banana Tree is very near by and offers a good alternative if your in this part of town.

Ordered Mixed Vegetable Madras for takeaway. it was just mush! The only vegetables I could identify were a couple of stips of onion.

Amazing!! The best food we've had. Excellent service, staff happy to advise and really friendly. Has now become our weekly visit. Have also ordered delivery which was extremely prompt and piping hot. Would highly recommend!!

Great Sri Lankan food and plenty of it. Really enjoyed tonight's meal. Sadly the lovely lady owner had to turn away many people as she can't get any staff locally at the moment so is running single handedly. This is why she asks you to pre-order. Do it, it's well worth it. New staff team coming soon we hear. We will be going back.

Honestly one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Food cooked beautifully and the service was top notch. Would I recommend - Yes Would I visit again - Yes

Cuatro de nosotros tuvimos una noche familiar en el Anglo Spice Grill ayer. El servicio fue amable y atento, la comida era de muy buena calidad con porciones generosas. Mi hija vegana estaba muy bien atendida. Los precios eran razonables y, en general, disfrutamos mucho de nuestra noche.

Used to be a real favourite treat but this evening orders 3 chow meins and all were so so salty. One person had extreme diahorrea after eating theirs and the rest of us just can’t stop drinking water. It’ll be a long time before I return

I don’t want to write a long winded review abut this place but I feel I need to send out a public health warning for people that won’t realise how this place is taking advantage of the food ignorance of some of the general public. What we ordered for starters : chicken satay for starters: when it arrived to the table the chicken was covered in peanut sauce,it was very dry and tasted rancid and sour, sent back and the came back the same , did not eat it. The clue that there was something wrong was the fact that the chicken was covered with the peanut sauce, this is not normal when ordering chicken satay. What we ordered for main course: Beef rendang , chicken rendang, rice , roti , stir fry vegetables . The vegetables wear good, roti was tasty but very oily,beef rendang was not great ,it was too wet more like a stew not like an authentic dry Randang and it had an unpleasant after taste. Chicken rendang is a made up dish not an authentic to Malaysia but thought I would try it , wish I didn’t , I did not like the smell so did not eat much . Most of the food was still left when we asked for the bill and The manager asked if we wanted to take the food away my response was no we didn’t this food is rubbish . I think this restaurant is desperate for the penny and don’t care that they are serving up poor quality food that is not fresh because some people don’t know any better. As someone that’s been fortunate to visit Malaysia a few times i can say that this place is doing a poor representation of Malaysian food and the most disturbing thing is that I think they are knowingly serving food that’s going off.

Best Thai 🍛 Never had a bad meal from here. Food has always been delicious, and delivered quickly. Highly recommended Red or Green Curry with Coconut Rice, with of course Spring Rolls. Located next to the multi story car park at Derriford Hospital.

Ordered a few curries tonight for a family get together, as part of the order we ordered a chicken tikka madras and chicken jalfrezi. The order came with two jalfrezi’s, no madras, when we phoned to ask for it to be rectified we were told that wasn’t what we ordered and that they repeated the order at the time, they did, but repeated it with a madras. I explained this to the staff who were rude and said I’d need to pay for another madras if they were to bring one. Also food wasn’t great, greasy naans and bhaji’s, Shocking attitude and service, won’t be visiting again!!!!

So damn good. Will order again. The drunken noodles are just the ticket. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu!!

I had been here quite a retimes and can clearly see the deterioration in menu, service portion sizes everything is given with miserable small heart… terrible terrible lost the charm already … no need to spend high prices for poor quality n food.
