The best restaurants serving Asian food in England

I wanted to share my disappointment following a recent meal at The House. For a group of three, we ordered the vegetarian set menu for two and an additional prawn pad Thai for the third person. Unfortunately, both the prawn pad Thai and vegetarian pad Thai were overwhelmed with tamarind sauce, making them inedible. We raised our concerns with the waitress, who involved the chef. While the chef listened to our feedback and took the dishes back to the kitchen, there was no offer of alternative dishes. When it came time to settle the bill, three members of staff confronted us, insisting we pay for both pad Thais despite our complaints. They refused to address our concerns, and no manager was present to escalate the issue. At one point, a staff member raised their voice and was notably rude. At a minimum, an apology or an offer to replace the dishes would have been appreciated, but instead, we were left with no resolution and had to pay in full. The rest of the meal was mediocre, and the service was unacceptably slow. We even requested water and never received it throughout the meal. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I would not recommend dining at The House.

First time ordering… Food is so tasty 🤤 arrived early and piping hot… will definitely be ordering again!

Katlamas are still the best. The chana halwa poori is also good. Only on Saturday and Sunday. Shish kebabs are good as well as Jalebis

Can’t really comment on Atmosphere as I ordered for delivery. Delivery time was really good and we waited only an hour from ordering to receiving which is expected on a Saturday night Food portions were good however I do wish we got more meat as we only got about 6 bits in each dish All in all I would return

The chicken Tikka Biriyani was good, and it was served with a good light gravy.

Visited this place several months ago food was freshly prepared and tasty so thought we would give it another go .to say I was disappointed is being kind .food was terrible reheated chilli beef was inedible to cap it all I woke in middle of the night with stomach cramp and being violently sick will definitely avoid in future.

Just ordered a takeaway and don’t even know where to start! Honestly the blandest food I’ve ever had. Ordered a Beef Ramen and Duck Ramen both with spicy broth, Water has more taste! Beef chewy and dry, and the smallest portion. Slat & Pepper chicken is flat cold and just covered in a spicy powder. Terrible food, £30+ straight in the bin. Some nerve to even call it Asian street food

This is my favourite go to place. The food is always on the spot. However they are recently serving foods against the menu description (e.g order grilled jerk lamb but served deep fried lamb). I mentioned to the staff either change the label or don’t false advertise

Microwave restaurant. Update: was the best however after the management changed to the father running it and not the daughter, the food has become very bad. I ordered kebab to pickup i think it was more chicken rather than meat and i think it was pre-made frozen kebab. The minced kebab kobideh was yellow.

Food was average and a very long wait for a samosa chaat and dahi balley

The best Cantonese in the whole of Lancashire, so welcoming and family friendly. Food tastes amazing! And staff are so accommodating. I'll be back!
