PLEASE READ | EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE HERE AT SHAHI MASALA IN BIRMINGHAM. I came to Shahi Masala a day in the December Christmas Holidays, and I would like to say my experience was PHENOMENAL, everything was perfection. There is lots of variety in starters, main dish, sides, desserts, and not to mention for the price of 22 pound per adult that includes drinks (AND MANGO LASSI UNLIMITTED and bear in mind this is the only place in Birmingham I know which does so) I would like to say I'm really liked the atmosphere and we got seated right away. The main meals were really nice, for example the nihari and butter chicken had a stunning taste of all the masalas mixed, I would also like to say the food id not spicy, its medium at highest. There id huge huge variety in starters too. Big selection of desserts, ranging from sprinkle cake with warm custard, apple crumble cake with warm custard, and this buffet even serves Mr Tees very famous ice cream, they also have a separate big salad and sauce bar. The decor is stunning throughout this buffet and the fountain outside provides space to take photos and create memories, overal 10/10. I have been to Ziryab, Roya Shalimar, Zauq but I feel like Shahi Masala is just the best out of all, highly recommend bring your family and friends and indulge in their rich tastes, NOTE : The waiters were really helpful walking around and even collect your dirty plates from your tables, HIGHLY RECOMMEND One thing I found really displeasing however was the chocolate fountain, there is a massive chandelier above it and it out me off, surely all the dust goes into it....

The food is mouthwatering and good in presentation and hygiene. The service and staff’s are nice , the atmosphere is calm and peaceful to enjoy our food.

It was very upsetting to experience such poor-quality food, which is completely unacceptable. My friend and I went there yesterday and ordered Nihari, but what they served us was microwaved lamb curry that was cold on the inside. My friend recognised it immediately and stopped eating, but I was hungry and ate some. Unfortunately, I later suffered from a bad stomach ache and couldn’t sleep all night. We spoke with the waiter, who confirmed that the food had been cooked several days ago and stored in the fridge. For a busy food place like this, they should prioritise their customers’ health. This is truly disappointing, and I will advise everyone to avoid this place if they care about their well-being.

The food is always tasty, shami kebab was salty.

Espantosa experiencia. Mal servicio al cliente. La comida no es buena. Hecho sentir muy desagradable. El gerente inicialmente nos puso en una mesa cerca de la puerta. Entonces una amable camarera nos preguntó si nos gustaría ser actualizado a una cabina para más comodidad y privacidad. Así que nos trasladaron a una cabina. El gerente caminó y parecía molesto porque nos habían actualizado y luego nos degradó a otra cabina más ocupada. No es así como tratas a los clientes. Me sentí como piezas de ajedrez moviéndose en una fiesta de sillas musicales para niños. La comida era promedio, algunos de ellos noce, pero la mayoría se había calentado desde el día anterior. ¡También me despidieron por envolver un kebab de malvavisco en una servilleta para llevar a casa! ¡No volveré a comer aquí!

The food is decent but nothing special. The service was fast and attentive.

I love Pho Street. Amazing Pho, genuine and kind staff, and cozy atmosphere. Duc Leanne and Su were absolutely lovely, it was a pleasure.

He estado viniendo aquí cada 4 - 6 semanas durante los últimos años por mucho maravillosa comida de calidad, que tiene un buen precio. Nunca han sido decepcionados con la comida o el servicio. El restaurante es una joya y sin duda vale la pena echar un vistazo. Trae tu propio restaurante de bebidas alcohólicas para que no te roben vino. Solía ir a Dawat en Ladypool Road, pero lamentablemente cerró. He probado otros pero este es mi favorito. D. N Sharma OBE

Good selection of traditional Cantonese food. The flavours were very authentic but the food was a bit too salty. Decent prices. We'd like to visit again next time we're near there.
