A fantastic experience. Food spot on service so friendly by our waitress Andrea. I would absolutely recommend the whole experience to anyone

A group of friends and ourselves met here for lunch, although trying to park the car was a nightmare, avoid Friday lunchtime! A selection of meals from sandwiches, lovely carved ham, prawn cocktails both said nice, a lovely looking prawn, smoked salmon, avocado salad, I was told was lovely and I opted for the skate middle, which was small but nice. As always the pub was busy, with efficient service and we all had a good time

We didn't make a reservation but stopped on the off chance of availability. Our server, Paul, was very helpful and friendly. Quick service, delicious main course from the specials menu and mini pudding with coffees. By the time we left the restaurant area was full! The pub seats diners with dogs in the bar area so we will return for another visit as the food and service was great!

Great place to come and have a social with your friends, have a drink and enjoy yourself. Staff are class (especially alicia) Duranza will touch you

Booked a table for Sunday lunch and the table we were allocated was tucked in a dark corner with poor lighting and felt like we were in a small cupboard . We did ask if we could move on to one of the many empty table but were refused as they were reserved I didn’t realise it was an option to reserved a specific table? A constant chair knock from the passing servers forced me to push our table further in to the cupboard. The disappointment didn’t stop their pate starter was served with thin hard crisp bread. The roast beef was wafer thin and served with courgette? Not a suitable vegetable for a Sunday roast in my opinion. However I did order a cauliflower cheese but more disappointed, it was tangy. I decided against eating it. The servers didn’t compensate with hospitality they were huffy and puffy and everything seemed to much trouble which in result made us feel invaluable and unwelcome. Didn’t bother with a pudding as honestly just didn’t want to spend any more money with this establishment.

Went with my partner - staff were so friendly and accommodating. We had the Sunday lunch which was a really generous portion size! Roast potato’s were some of the best I have had in Brentwood. Would recommend and will be returning

100% wouldn’t recommend at all so over priced massively got quoted £12.50 per person for 1 platter of sandwiches for all 15 people drinks not included in the price am hugely disappointed at the service and has really messed up plans 🙅🏻‍♀️🙅🏻‍♀️

Service was good, food a little bland but served a purpose while working away from home, WiFi was good so could work at the table.

An excellent Boxing Day dinner with the family. Our third years visit was very enjoyable with good food, great staff and friendly atmosphere. Thanks to all.

Perfect for Sunday Roast in cold Winter months. Cozy atmosphere with open log fires and great service from our waitress, Chloe.

Once again The Eagle Pub delivered great service, great food and a great atmosphere for my family get together. Meeting up with family from overseas in such a wonderful place really makes the day special. Thank you once again everyone at The Eagle Pub Kelvedon Hatch for making us feel so welcome. Took my grandchildren here today for breakfast with Santa. Lots of free parking, just remember to put your car registration number in the machine on the bar. Cosy, beautiful old building. Welcomed by a very friendly man and served by a lovely, patient lady. Made to feel very welcome. Quick service. Very nice breakfast. Our visit with Santa was very relaxed, not rushed at all, he was happy to chat away with the children and then gave them chocolate and a gift bag with goodies in. Such a lovely place to spend a morning and now my eldest Grandson has asked to go for his birthday breakfast in February. Thank you to all the staff and Happy Christmas!

The food was lovely we had the curry and it was delicious with a soft drink included with it and we had coffee refill service was good very busy packed in the afternoon

I visited Rooster Piri Piri with my mum, excited to try it as it looked so good. However, when I saw the menu, I was shocked by the high prices, which didn’t seem worth it at all. After trying the food, I ended up with a stomach ache the next day. The food was flavorless, and the chicken burger I ordered turned out to be a disappointment—a mini chicken wing with a bone was thrown into the burger. I ordered extra hot chicken, but it wasn’t hot at all; it was bland. I felt sick and couldn’t finish my food, eventually having to throw it away. I will never order from here again and do not recommend it to anyone. If you want grilled chicken, go elsewhere.
