sorry I won't be having a breakfast here again because i'm not keen on grease let alone loads of lard and it may put weight on the mid sectionbut everyone loves a fry up in the winter don't they

Very unprofessional owner, complaining because we didn’t spend enough money even tho as a table we spent over £120 in a couple of hours, stay away!!

Beautiful pub in a lovely location. Very clean and well presented. The barmaid was lovely and friendly.

We normally look forward to our Chrstimas meal at the Three Blackbirds, but this was disappinting this year. In future we would either choose to go for a mid-week meal or eat much later on a Sunday. We appreciate that being extremely busy is good for business, it does not always translate into a 5 star dining experience for everyone.

First time visiting, absolutely brilliant. Food was high quality, full of flavour. The service and atmosphere was friendly, efficient and able to answer questions in relations to the menu. Top dishes for us were ‘slow beef massaman curry’ and ‘Biscoff Cheese Cake’ (lighter than air!). Would highly recommend, looking forward to trying more of the menu.

I think Tripadvisor should allow you one 6* review to give out per year. Our meal here last night deserves more than 5*. We were met be a friendly Maitre D, and decided to have some drinks in the bar first as we were early. We ordered cocktails from an extensive menu. I'm not a cocktail guy, but seeing a 'Hemmingway' made from absinth and champagne, I was too curious not to try it. It was an event watching the mixer make it, and of course was incredible. We were led through to the dining room as we finished our drinks. We were there to celebrate an anniversary, and found a beautiful anniversary card from the management on the table. An incredible touch. The waiter was perfect, friendly and chatty, but not intrusive. Extremely smart and polite. The food. The food! I think I can honestly say it was the nicest meal I've ever eaten. I had the ribeye, medium rare and it was PERFECT. I also had the stilton sauce which was divine. My partner had the chicken and it was also, perfect. We had one of the cheaper wines, and a dessert - both absolutely lovely. I've been coming here since it opened, but can safely say it is at the absolute top of its game. We were made to feel like royalty. It's 'posh' and fairly formal, but not stuffy. There isn't a single thing which could have made it better.

Just went here today for lunch. Gentleman who was working was incredibly friendly and took great care of us. Food was top notch along with the drinks.

Had a fantastic evening meal here. Pan fried sea bream with fennel and new potatoes, was cooked perfectly. There were 10 of us, and everyone was impressed with what they ordered. Best pub food I’ve found within 30mins drive of Cambridge, in years.

One of our favourite pubs. Visited for Sunday lunch. Great food in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Great sandwiches and cakes with beautiful scenic views of the cathedral. Dog friendly with outdoor seating. Prices are moderately.

Booked for Christmas Lunch today, Turkey and all the trimmings it was very tasty, good portion size. Really enjoyed the meal. Very busy today, staff were working really hard, thank you.

Food isn’t very tasty , ordered a burger which was tiny , was about half the size of a usual 1/4 . Chips are dry and tasteless Glasses for drinks are dirty We was overcharged by £4 too Won’t return
