Held a wake here in early December for 50 people. Chris was so accommodating and made the event seamless. The service was excellent, the food was home made, delicious and at a reasonable cost. Staff couldn't be more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend.

Booked lunch at the Hat for our local U3A walking group (our first time there). Good pub food and drink at reasonable prices and a nice dining area. Pub manager Joey was courteous and attentive and we enjoyed our food. Would definitely return.

I want to thank The Pheasant for their exceptional service during my brother’s funeral gathering. The food was absolutely delicious, with a perfect selection that everyone enjoyed. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, providing a calm and peaceful space during a difficult time. The staff were kind, professional, and attentive, ensuring everything went smoothly. Reservamos una mesa para las 5 pm, ya que estaban ocupados antes. El joven de unos 20 años que nos atendió fue sobresaliente. Él era muy amable, sabía sus cosas e hizo que mi esposa y yo nos sintiéramos muy bienvenidos. Nada era demasiado problema, a pesar de que se había precipitado. Buena variedad de menú y precios razonables.

Just been for Sunday roast and one of the best we've ever had. Party of 10. Beef, Turkey and Pork which were all cooked to perfection 👌🏻. Will definitely be back

Warning … this is not a proper Greene king pub…. Despite all the signage. Blue light card NOT accepted. Food ok but basic. No music tonight, just a bit flat .

Very nice. The bar tenders we very nice and easy to talk to. It’s a very good village pub, with lots of locals!

We stopped on the off chance as we travelled to Cambridge. Decided to stay for lunch. Lovely Thai themed lunch, friendly atmosphere, clean facilities. Reasonable price for fresh cooked beautifully presented food. If we lived nearby we would definitely be back.

We went in at about 3.30 for afternoon tea. I asked for a gluten-free cake, and was offered apple pie. It looked and tasted delicious, an open pie, with a layer of crème patissiere below the apple, and then a thin layer of sponge and then finally, a layer of caramel. There wasn’t too much sugar in the lower layers, to counteract the sweetness of the caramel - classy patisserie! I was offered cream to go with it, and I regret not going for the full, indulgent experience. We’ll be going back!

Very poor. Nearly empty and food poor. What more can I say. No nibbles available. Have not been for some years and won't be going again

Had lunch one weekday last week. Despite a large group before us the food was served reasonably quickly. All the food was good and quantities were good too. The service was good throughout and decent value for money. Would return.

Desafortunadamente, no tenían tocino, así que el inglés completo estaba fuera. También estaban muy ocupados y dijeron que era probable una espera de 45 minutos. No teníamos prisa, así que pedí un par de salchichas. Estos llegaron en 10 minutos (! ) que fue encantador. También tuvimos algunas galletas de pistacho que eran muy agradables, indulgente. Las bebidas eran buenas.

So expensive! £7 for a sausage roll. £7! I mean c’mon. It was similar to the ones you get at Wild Cafe at the BP garage. Not worth it. So many other places nearby with similar food at a more reasonable price.
