The best restaurants serving British food in Bloomsbury Camden London

Was a good place for a quick bite during the day. Egg sandwich was good, but a little greasy, but still enjoyable. Would go back and try a gain.

Sadly this was not a great experience. The food was okay other than the avocado dish that had no hint of green on the dish... it was black. I can only presume it was drop kicked from great heights to land on the plate. We were not asked if we wanted drinks so made do with the tap water. The burgers are average at best and given some come minus a bun I don't think they have yet grasped the concept of a good burger. We found the gentleman behind the bar could barely raise a smile and again wasn't offered the chance to order drinks..... i don't think we could of hinted anymore unless one of us began choking. We then requested the bill to 3 people and believe or not we had to ask again as they failed to bring it over. The best part of the meal was the menu... we learnt who shot and butchered the meat which was actually quite factual. This was genuinely the best part of the meal.

I hadn’t been to this venue before, but had a good night. Good clientele in an intimate venue. The only downside is if you don’t have ice in your drinks, they don’t fill the glass, leaving a inch from the top. What cheapness. Never seen that before. I’d plan on going back, but hopefully this nonsense will stopped being practiced.

Amazing food! Friendly and smiley service! Very cosy atmosphere especially for business lunch or dinner. Highly recommended place!

Abendessen 2/10 Alles war um 19 Uhr „ausverkauft“ oder nicht vorhanden was auf der Karte stand. Die Temperatur in der Bar war eiskalt, im Eingangsbereich konnte man nicht die Jacke ausziehen daher extrem ungemütlich für ein pub. Essen 3 „sides“ (Pommes, teriyaki chicken, Backfisch) hat 60 Minuten gedauert und 3 andere Sachen ausverkauft. Es War eine sehr geringe Portion, daher zum Essen nicht empfehlenswert. Kellner auch nicht so freundlich wie hier in den Bewertungen beschrieben!

Love this pub especially as we are very well looked after by Pandy. It’s one of our locals, nice sparkling wine and beers, great food and lovely interior. Best time to be there when it’s quiet. For special occasions too

Nuestra experiencia ha sido positiva. Para poder decidirnos cual sería la cerveza a pedir nos dieron algún chupito para probar. Buena atención . Con televisiores con deportes.

DO NOT DO THE BOTTOMLESS BRUNCH! If I could give this place no stars I would. The service, attitude of the staff and the food and drink were diabolical. We booked a bottomless brunch for a hen do, to which half of the food menu was not available at 12pm! We didn’t have a first full round of drinks until an hour in to our two hour session. We were told there was no cranberry juice, which is the base of most cocktails, to which we ask what can they do and they went to the shop and bought some. Out of the three non alcoholic cocktails they could only make one even though they were on the menu. To top the whole lot off one of the chicken burgers was EXTREMELY RAW and this was given to a pregnant woman. We were told by the person behind the bar that this was not the first time this has happened either. We highly recommend that they do not serve bottomless brunch anymore as the service cannot be provided.

Me encontré con The Hope y ahora he visitado con frecuencia en los últimos 2 meses. Nicola es una parte maravillosa del equipo; Shane tampoco está tan mal : - ) Siempre he tenido una bienvenida tan feliz, y una experiencia agradable. Definitivamente estoy reservando una mesa para los juegos de rugby 6 Naciones cuando Irlanda está jugando - que será un gran ambiente! ¡Sigue así Hope!

Las primeras impresiones parecían un lugar encantador. A algunos nuevos funcionarios les resultó difícil comunicarse. Tal vez falta de entrenamiento. Encontré al gerente grosero, pasivo agresivo. Mi marido y yo queríamos salir a tomar una copa y terminamos aquí porque el lugar que queríamos ir estaba lleno y oh tan ruidoso. Está dentro del Holiday Inn. Eché un vistazo rápido al menú de bebidas, ya que no bebo vino ni cerveza, pero bebo cócteles. Encontré unos cócteles de buen aspecto así que decidimos sentarnos. Nos dieron menús y cada uno pidió una bebida. Mi marido pidió un Johnny Walker Black y yo pedí el Parisian. Mientras veía al camarero hacerlo me preguntaba si me gustaría. Me encanta la calle. Germaine pero no me pareció suficiente... luego vino la cáscara de pepino. Me gusta el pepino pero no en mi bebida. ¡Me gustó! Bastante diferente de lo que normalmente habría hecho. Después de beber esta, mi marido quería otra. No puedo beber sin comida en mi estómago. Pedimos el aguacate bruschetta. También pedí el martini de maracuyá. Mi marido pidió un hombro doble de mono. Mi bebida era muy dulce incluso con el Prosecco para adelgazar un poco y me encanta el dulce aunque creo que me gustan menos las cosas dulces de lo que solía. La bruschetta no era buena. Creo que decía que tenía queso parmesano. Eso no fue como cualquier queso parmesano que he probado. No sabía bien. Yo no lo pediría. Quería el pescado con papas fritas para empezar, pero se veía tan grande que no podría haber comido todo eso y los alimentos bien fritos no me sientan tan bien. El lugar no era ruidoso, el servicio y las bebidas son buenas. Simplemente no puedo recomendar la bruschetta.
