Excellent location close to Victoria train and underground stations. The room was clean and though basic, it catered for all our needs. The bed was particularly comfortable.

Good location, large pub, good service, beautiful interior, clean. This pub does not serve Peroni beer on draft. I have discovered beer 1536 which was rather good.

What a great, proper, local pub in the heart of the West End. Independent brewery, reasonably priced, high-spirited clientele, super-friendly and cheerful staff. I WILL be back….

The wines are overpriced (considering the owner gets her wines from Waitrose ...), the atmosphere within the bar is deader than a funeral (mostly just old racist & sexist bankers who regularly drink & eat there) & the service is atrociously slow. I & several guests were waiting for over an hour for our fries. Not to mention, the place is rat-invested as I found rat droppings under the toilet and even under our table. Additionally, on their menus they "Service charge at customer's discretion", which usually means that the owner of that establishment is underpaying their staff, hence the shoddy service. Overall, I would not recommend it in the slightest especially if you're a tourist in London. There are better Fish & Chips places & wine bars in Leadenhall Market than Broker's Wine Bar. Great spot and food for dinner night. During our stay in Danubius Hotel We went to the restaurant couple of times and where served by Ms. Kelly who was very welcoming and friendly yet professional. I give the food and service 5 stars without any doubt and hopefully I'll always visit with family and friends.

Felicitaciones a tu brillante equipo. El servicio fue absolutamente impecable también! ¡Bien hecho!

They just reopened after closing for a while. It’s quiet a nice pub, the food is, nothing special. Good selection of drinks. Just up the red from portobello market

Literally the best place to for lunch to go in the City. The freshest and tastiest options with an amazing selection of choices. The staff are really helpful and friendly and it feels really nice to eat a freshly made up sandwich, wrap or salad. Nothing else compares around here. My favourite is the chipotle chicken sourdough. Yum. Highly recommended.

Over priced wine and food. Food quantities and quality were poor - I didn't think London restaurants could get away with this.

I don’t usually write reviews however I’m terribly disappointed with my response from Maddox Tavern , I have chosen to write a review online. Myself and my partner made a visit to Maddox Tavern Mayfair on Friday 9th June 2023. We booked the last available lunch slot way in advance, booked our train tickets and travelled to London. We arrived just before our booked slot. We had a starter , main and cocktail as part of a voucher experience deal. We ate our starters and waited for our mains. The mains arrived and my partner could not eat his piping hot fish pie. I also noted it smelt very fishy. He starting eating the fish pie and said it didn’t taste right and left the fish pie . He said it was very fishy and had an off taste. Before I finished my meal , my partner left the table and went to the bathroom to throw up. The original waitress that greeted us came over , apologised and asked for my partners name and email to write down . Not wanting to make a fuss he declined as there was other customers in ear shot. However he told the waitress to let the chef know the fish was off incase another customer ordered it. We asked for the bill and left. I complained after arriving home and it was passed to a food agency to investigate . Due to my partner not providing ‘samples’ the complaint was dismissed after well over a month. I again passed my complaint to Maddox Tavern and they were ‘satisfied’ the food poisoning was not their issue. The Tavern didn’t acknowledge the rest of my complaint about spending money travelling and eating there for the day to be ruined. Would not recommend .

The recent review of The Corner Cafe & Deli left by a certain "Harry B" fills me with total dismay, I can not believe that a local of Barnes could condem one of Barnes oldest cafes, especailly when times are tough for so many of our small family run buisneses. The Corner Cafe has been in Barnes for as long as I have and I find it a warm, friendly place with unbelievable food. It has had the same regulars for many years and the charming owner, Anita, makes a point of coming up to greet her regulars whenever they come in. It is shocking that anyone could wish ill of such a local favourite and I sincerely hope that such a pettyworld view comes back to bite you "Harry B"! Until then, I highly recommend The Corner Cafe and hope it goes nowhere or I will be lost without my Power breakfast fix.

¡Refrescantemente perfecto!
