The best restaurants serving British food in Hounslow London

Food and restaurant service 10/10 but delivery driver was only 2 minutes if that around the corner from restaurant to me and he someone went the longest way around and was stopping everything 100 meters for some reason

Such a shame. Visited today 17.1.25 at 8pm seated upstairs. Came here to celebrate our 10 year anniversary having come to this restaurant for our first date and the night we got engaged. Such a special place for us which we noted on our reservation, but were wished a happy birthday instead (when receiving a lovely complimentary prosecco). My fish though lovely had salt poured over, I ate around and left half as I was too hungry to send back but mentioned to the server who said she would inform the chef but didnt hear anything further. Table next to us also returned their seabass. Service incredibly poor, chased for drinks twice and werent received til after starters. Had to give wine order multiple times. Server dropped a sauce pot on another diners shoes. Waitress clearing unfinished wine because she said she didnt have her glasses on. Bit of a disaster. Left before dessert. Wanted to continue to return as such a special place for us though far from our home, but doubt we will be able to justify the journey again.

Are you a foodie person? Would you like a place that has life but it is not too loud that you can’t keep a conversation? Amazing service? Fair price? Yeap, this place check all the boxes.

Realmente disfrutamos de nuestra visita, el anfitrión explicó el menú y tuvo una velada encantadora. Teníamos el Baba Ghanouj, Arayes como el Mezze de arranque, y el Cordero Shawarma y el Cordero Kofta. Teníamos una botella de vino tinto Massaya Classic del Líbano. Gran valor y servicio realmente amable.

Very quick and efficient service. Seated as soon as we got there by the very attentive Shila. Drinks were served followed by menu choices. Sure the food is standard pub fare, but came quickly and clean plates for the kids which is high praise.

Sorry but who is giving this place 5 star reviews. Is this the same place in Brentford, opposite Siracusa (Italian Restaurant) YES it is! I would give it ZERO stars if I could! So I was here with a group of my colleagues/friends for dinner. Sat us down, owner/waiter pretty sleepy but took our order. Nice enough guy. Food was below standard and burger bun was rock hard (clearly ones that are frozen and reheated) but it's the worst service I have ever experienced that I would like to point out. The starters was bought to our table without cutlery or side plates. Our friend got up to get these with the waiter looking on without a care in the world and not so much as "sorry let me do this for you (considering it's his job)". They did not once come over in the 3 hours we were there to check all was ok. We were constantly calling them over for drink and food orders. They are clearly understaffed and the few waiters they have there are not trained on Customer Service. Only go here if you have nowhere else to eat. The food was below average. The service a disaster. Go ANYWHERE else!

Wings London as the name suggests specialises in chicken wings. And with five flavours to choose from, you'll certainly manage to get your fix, while mixing things up with strips and wraps, if you're in and around the area. The restaurant itself is aesthetically pleasing, ultra clean, and very welcoming from the outside. As for their menu, then it's been kept simple enough, with everything made to fit on a single sheet. But, what makes this place stand out from the crowd is that they offer diners the choice of having their chicken wings, strips and wraps either fried or grilled. Juxtapose all that to the five marinations available and, according to our maths, that makes at least 30 different combos to try (that's not including the vegan options). With hardly any other Halal restaurants on the long stretch of Boston Road, Wings London is certainly worth a visit if you're in the area. Didn't find anything too special about this place. Went at lunch time, it was not really crowded. I ordered a burger with sweet potatoes fries. Burger was good but nothing really special. Meat was too cooked to my taste (none of us were asked how we'd like the meat cooked). Sweet potatoes fries were excellent. Service was ok. Not much more to say about this experience.

Live locally. Always pop down for a pint either solo or with friends. Lovely traditional pub with a great atmosphere.

Love this pub. If you are after watching sports, it's the pub for you.👍
