Was out yesterday for a drive and decided to find somewhere to eat and we weren't disappointed. Fantastic food with a relaxing atmosphere..The staff were very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. It was lovely not to feel rushed, so we were able to enjoy our meal and I had a cuppa..The sunday lunches were tasty and hot, I had half a chicken ( eyes too big for belly lol ) and my partner had the beef which was falling apart it was that succulent plus it was very affordable. Would definitely go back. Lovely clean loos too.

I must say that I was really disappointed. I ordered a shellfish paella which cost £19. It came in a small bowl. The rice was a sticky long grain rice with no rich colour to it. It had some shellfish in but it was so bland. It didn’t even look like a paella. Very disappointing. Staff were lovely but sadly I won’t be going back.

Every time I visit Middlesbrough I eat here, its a traditional British cafe serving classic British food. There is lots of seating so you can share a table and chat to a stranger (its a northern thing) or sit away from people. Food is always good and budget friendly too.All the food I have had id home made, except for the scones? Some of the customers & staff are a bit ruff but in a good way, Middlesbrough is a ruff place, but you are safe. For me I always feel welcome and food is good.

Went to the garden centre hoping to find some nice home accessories and gardening items (which there was none of because of christmas, i get that it was december but how can you call it a garden centre when there’s no indoor plants or hardly any gardening items). The cafe was absolutely horrible. We were prepared to pay the extortionate prices if the food seemed appetising at all, but £9+ for a soggy wet undercooked toastie is insane. The cakes were about £5 and were inedible as if they had been out for weeks. The worst part of the visit was the state of the cafe. There was nowhere to sit at all because of the amount of food and dirt all over the floors, seats and the tables. There was streaks of ‘mud’ on the floor under one of the tables in the corner, although it did have a smell to it so not too sure if it was mud! The tables all had food left on them and trays. And we were there for about an hour and still nothing was cleared away. I realise it was rather busy but surely in the festive season leading up to christmas you would want the cafe to be more appealing and would consequently put on more staff. There was crumbs everywhere covering the whole floor with spilt food and drink. It sounds like an over exaggeration but it was honestly horrible. Me and my partner felt very uncomfortable to be sat in such a filthy place but couldn’t leave because of the prices we just spent for terrible food. Even if it was inedible we felt the need to eat it because of the sheer amount of money wasted. NEVER AGAIN! We went to strikes after this disaster of a garden centre and cafe and let me just tell you i breathed a sigh of relief when we sat in their clean, tidy and lovely cafe. Would not recommend cherry hill at all when there’s so many other centres near.
