Good food, well presented, and value for money. Staff were friendly.

Oh dear, poor food off the main menu and the Sunday lunch menu. The meat on Sunday lunch was fine to be fair but the veg and roast potatoes very poor, parsnips burnt, roast potatoes weren't even up to aunt Bessie standerds, dry cheap rubbish. Mash tasted cheap and manufactured variaty Main menu smothered platter was laughable, pie and chips and peas no gravy told to just go to carvary for it. Service, one lady working hard, otherwise table left for over 90 minutes after finishing not one plate cleared from from table. Toilets not great either to be honest. Play area was okay but seen better days . Two in group tried desserts, sundae was okay, choc brownie or whatever it was had cold custard, most desserts not available. Would be one star if not for the play area and the one lady whom was very pleasant sorry didn't get her name.

Very Relaxed, nice country pub First time before can I have the Parmesan and the wife had fish and chips excellent fresh good portions I had a pint of Carling and the wife had a medium rose very reasonably priced

Room ( which we had to pay for ) (15 a head ) was damp food was like children’s party and no bar service access was a nightmare only saving grace was the effort family put into it nice staff

We've just moved to Yarm and on our first visit, of what will now be many, we had a great experience. Toasties, one with chicken and avocado and one with brie and cranberry and a toddler nibble plate! Delicious

So ... we were looking for somewhere different in Yarm today for lunch .and as we walked past "The House" I was seduced by a picture outside of a full english breakfast . The picture depicted a plate with two eggs , two sausages and all the trimmings , it looked delicious . I didn't need to look at the menu , I knew what I wanted to eat . We duly went inside and were greeted warmly by a member of staff . How disappointing to find that the picture outside in no way resembled the actual food ! Only one egg , one sausage ....etc I felt we were lured inside by false advertising ... . Granted the Menu on inspection did state " Egg , Sausage , etc etc " .... but not what was depicted on the picture outside . So .... be warned !!!!

Called in by chance after hearing good reports. Seated quickly and given menus. Choices made (Yorkshire pudding wrap with mash and veg and a New York deli burger) we ordered at the bar and sat with our drinks waiting for the food. Looking around it was fairly busy but our meals came fairly quickly. Freshly prepared, well presented and piping hot. Both meals delicious and filling. One of the best pub burgers I’ve tasted. And the beef in the wrap was beautiful. The decor was pretty good also and the service was friendly. But the stars were the kitchen staff, we’ll definitely return soon, in fact we’ve even decided on our next choices!

Appeared to be the best pub on the estate, great for all sports boxing , football, even darts. Nice food, great choice of lagers. Landlady took time to help me as a passing visitor 🤩 and the staff were friendly. A fantastic experience compared to other pubs I have visited across the UK whilst motorcycle touring. Highly recommend 👍

We had afternoon tea today and it was absolutely lovely. Our waitress Libby was very attentive and made it a very pleasurable experience. Nothing was too much trouble and the setting was perfect.

As title says, with the lovely note that it's the only place I know in the area that has oat milk (and every other not milk milk if that's what you'd like). Great staff too.

5 adults, 5 children plus 1 in a highchair for Sunday lunch. Almost perfect (no brownies for children's desserts). The quality of all courses was superb. Main roast dishes were ample and perfect. I had bream. Delicious. Sadly no specific GF dessert for me (could have had ice cream but was full!) Service was attentive and prompt despite the restaurant being full. Can not recommend highly enough.

First and foremost I would like to say the cafe is called POND VIEW NOT KINGS COFFEE. The staff were very friendly and the coffee excellent. We didn’t have to wait long to be served . I think this review should go under Pond View cafe not Kings coffee

Handy spot in the small industrial estate frequented by workers from the jnits nearby. Very popular especially over the lunch hour. Great choice on the menu, to eat in or take out & pretty quick service too. The food is definitely OK but where they fall down on each & every occasion I have been there is in clearing the tables! This doesn't seem to be a priority for them at all. Many many times I have had to clear away the debris from someone's previous lunch before I can be seated to have mine! Otherwise they have everything going for them.

Visitamos la ciudad en febrero con mi padre. Yo tenía queso de cabra y risotto pelotas con salsa que donde muy sabroso. Luego tuve salmón con un panqueque de cangrejo con verduras y patatas fritas adecuadas. Mi padre tenía sopa seguido de cerdo de la danza del vientre. 2 platos por £13 era una absoluta ganga.Bonito lugar, me sentí un poco de pena por las chicas que trabajan allí tenían mucho que hacer. Otra persona para ayudar habría hecho una gran diferencia. He comido en algunos de los mejores pasos en el noreste y este lugar es tan bueno si no es mejor que el de otros lugares en Newcastle con premios. Sin duda volveremos.
