Good food, nice atmosphere with the Chesterfield couches in the pub area. 1 large TV for sports. Sunday roast was very nice too. Outside seating available.

Lovely, friendly atmosphere and well looked after by our host Matthew. We’ll definitely be returning to this pub unfortunately can’t say the same for the goat down the road, whom discriminated against our hidden disabilities and refused service. This placed welcomed us without judgment and serves great wine and good music. Would recommend!

All staff were excellent – friendly, prompt and informative. One of us had vegetable soup which was very tasty and just the right thickness. The other had cheese on toast with bacon. That tasted really good and was a good texture. It was an odd mixture of temperatures – some parts were quite warm, others were very cold. I couldn’t work out if it was meant to be cold (and accidentally left near a heat source) or meant to be warm (and badly reheated) but it tasted good. I’ll have it again, but I’ll ask for it to be evenly heated!
