The best restaurants serving British food in Saddleworth South Oldham North West

We have just come back from having afternoon tea here today and I cannot thank Val enough. We received a warm welcome, the food was amazing and I am gluten free and felt completely in safe hands with lovely food. Val provide food and gifts for my grandchildren and our friends grandchildren and nothing was too much for her. We are planning a return visit soon, next time child free and with Prosecco-thank you Val for your attentive and caring service.

We visited here to attend one of the Christmas parties and what an experience! The staff were amazing, the party was so well organised and there was so much to do for the price. Would highly recommend!!!

Had a great time at the Annex for a friends 50th. Nina on the bar was fabulous. Very friendly and made great gin and tonics, taking care to make sure the garnish was correct. Thank you!

Lovely atmosphere. Pippa, Daisy and the rest of the staff make you feel very welcome. We were told to try the lasagna, it was THE BEST! Absolutely delicious ❤️

First time visiting here after several recommendations and it didn't disappoint. Lovely first impressions, the atmosphere was cosy, the decor was really nice and the staff were really attentive throughout. We had a Sunday roast with all the trimmings which was delicious. Justine looked after us; she was super friendly! I liked how we didn't feel rushed to leave after our meal, even though it was busy. Reasonably priced and good quality food. Dog friendly too! Highly recommend 🙂

Small family birthday celebration - we made it despite the weather. Ate the 2-4-1 menu (Mon/Tue 5 to 8pm) - delicious all round & excellent value for money. Good service. Recommended. Would have been 5* but the dining room was cold (fire laid but not lit) & it would have been helpful if some of the car park had been cleared of snow/ice.

Was nice visit - staff friendly and attentive, was very warm and stuffy inside (wasn’t a warm day) and felt a little cramped

Went in on Friday near enough 9pm for a few drinks, only free table on arrival was upstairs which was exclusively for the restaurant-no problem. Hung on downstairs till a table freed up and sat down. A bald manager came to clear the empty glasses from the table and we asked him for a bottle of Prosecco and he checked his phone and said yes. 10 minutes later no drinks and the bar wasn’t busy so went to ask with one of the staff and they said the order wasn’t put in and she would do it. Bald manager brings the bottle over and then said ‘oh it’s bar service only’ so I asked him if he wanted me to open the bottle if it’s bar service only. At no point during our first interaction with the manager did he say it was bar service which definitely would have been helpful.

Bbq pizza & ultimate chicken burger. Food was really good & really hot. Lovely friendly staff what more can you wish for.

Brilliant as always. Great team serving wonderful food.always enjoy my visits here and would highly recommend. Great job guys.
