Best coffee shop in town maybe even Lancashire! I just love love this coffee shop not only does it have the best coffee and cakes, if you want lunch it’s has plenty of wonderful options to choose from. Plenty of vegan and gluten free options also. It’s has the most wonderful nooks and crannies to sit in and its Victorian decor is beautiful. The staff are always friendly and service fast. I have yet to find a coffee shop I love more.

What an amazing friendly little place! Couldn't have been happier to see Hofbrau as a regular and their Oktoberfest as a special. Great selection of beers and ales, and a very friendly barman and locals. 100% will come back again, cheers!

Tim Hall is a very good chap. We had filled baps and they were excellent. The tea rooms were closed, but he let us sit at the tables in the garden. We will certainly come again.

En route to the lakes lunch Fish cake and chips and crispy chicken sandwich and triple cooked chips . Chips were definitely out of the freezer , the fish cake was ok but nothing more and my husband said the crispy chicken was boring . Tartare sauce served with the fish cake was one of those really cheap ones out of a jar . For nearly £13 for a chicken sandwich plus £3.75 for a portion of chips it should have been better

Dirty dancing bottomless brunch. Brill entertainment, super quick with the drinks, but the food is poor but this didn't put us off as you're kinda paying paying for the drink

We’ve been to Gibbon Bridge on several occasions over the years and it was always excellent. We couldn’t fault the staff, they were friendly and attentive. I noticed that some of the dishes have been on the menu for years. The food was lovely. The dessert menu was somewhat boring. Apple pie, sticky toffee pudding, crème brûlée etc. What I did object to was being charged almost £9 for a glass of Prosecco!! I’ve paid less in Manchester and Cheshire. A pleasant enough evening, but I don’t think we’ll go out of our way to return. We have an excellent 4 star restaurant on our doorstep, think we’ll stick to that
