Delicious food, great service and a lovely relaxing atmosphere. Harry & Lottie were great and attentive. Recommend the steak and ale pie.

Booked for Sunday lunch - waited an age to be seated, very pleasant environment, ordered the Sunday roast, this took 4 trips from the waitress to bring the main course - the veg, the potatoes, the gravy by the time I'd gotten all I needed the whole meal was cold - no check back, ordered dessert - the crumble that also was stone cold - again no check back, the staff were polite and helpful but seemed to lack direction and leadership and seemed more invested in the wedding which was taking place - food very underwhelming

We had a super lunch here at the Swan. Good service, great food, reasonable prices. I had the Roast Porcetta and my wife had the roast beef. The vegetarian ravioli also went down well with our guests. We were the second sitting for lunch and two of the dessert choices had all gone by the time we got to that point but that didn't detract greatly from a good meal. Definitely recommended, total cost for 4 was £110 including drinks and a 10% service charge that was added.

Stopped in early afternoon during a county walk on very cold January day. We were made very welcome by Russell the new Manager. Pub was warm and cozy with candles in every nook. Excellent service and atmosphere.

Nice food and good selection. Quick to serve and can order at table through their qr code. Outside seating. I had the burger which was good.

We really liked it here and food was great. We sat in the bar playing games with family. Games are supplied by the pub. Only negatives for us was the lady behind the bar who was not welcoming or friendly in our view. She did nothing wrong but was just pretty curt and didn’t really seem like she wanted anyone there. Just our view seeing as we picked this pub at random and had never been before. The only other negative was the Aperol spritz which was very watery.

Very very disappointing. We waited well over an hour for our lunch and saw tables who had ordered after us being served first. An offer to take our drinks off the bill was accepted. The calf’s liver was over cooked and so salty it was almost inedible. A badly organised pub serving poor quality food. AVOID.

Odd to see a sign on the pub advertising a chance to lease a pub when the present team have been in situ for some time. And running out of cask beer? A bit weird. However the food was plentiful and tasty.

I called in for lunch and was greeted by a polite member of staff. The table service was good and my order arrived fairly promptly. The chicken stack and fries were quite good as was the tea. I paid a pleasant young lady at the counter. Overall, nothing bad to report.

Great staff, lovely to sit by the fire in the bar. Restaurant area felt a bit formal to me so stayed in the bar. Food was excellent but very small portions, and not cheap either. I had the gammon and could have eaten 2 plates.

We came for the afternoon tea and we loved it. The presentation and quality was good. The restaurant has nice view to grounds with many colourful flowers. Anna has been amazing . So friendly and helpful. Nice selection of teas. We definitely will be back. We were told that zanetta from kitchen prepared our afternoon tea.

Called in for breakfast . I have visited before and found it quite nice although some of the staff can be a little curt. This time i was met with a miserable man with glasses , bellowing out orders. He handed me my order and proceeded with a very backward stereotype, a racial "joke". I don't expect to be racially abused when i am spending my hard earned money in your cafe. After his bigoted quip, he scurried off very quickly. I am glad he did as it was likely he d have had his glasses smacked off his head. Cheeky boy trying to belittle people when he's serving coffees for a living. I wont be back near the establishment as I don't support bigots.
