No habíamos estado a 64 grados durante un par de años y muy esperado nuestra visita. Esto fue más allá de lo excepcional. Personal atento e informado. Cada plato de comida fue excepcional con el bacalao con miso y salsa de limón mi plato del año. En serio un plato de calidad para acompañar todo lo demás. If you're looking for excellent seafood by the beach, this is the place. Generous portions, friendly staff, excellent food and not overpriced, this place was a dream!! Cannot recommend enough! The chips were perfect 👌

Always a lovely pub to visit. Didn’t eat this time, but the food is always bang on when I’ve eaten. Nice staff, nice place, decent beer, clean and cosy. A Brighton institution.

I always love the simplicity and authenticity of this pub. The atmosphere is always good and friendly. The Guinnes is awesome too.

Exciting and casual Murmur is the sister of 64 degrees and it shows It’s quite an affordable option with an incomparable view of the sea If you are on a budget go for the lunch menu so you get an idea of what the food is like Service is great

The best Sunday roast lunch we have had had in a long time! Perfectly cooked vegetables and delicious gravy with a particularly tasty cheesecake for dessert. Plus Lovely staff and an interesting mix of people.

I visited here by accident after the venue I was planning to go to was closed for a private event. Because of the name, I had assumed this place was just good for beer but I was pleasantly surprised to find a lovely, cosy pub. Yes, there is a great range of craft beer but there's also lots of other drinks on offer, and the food we ordered was lovely too (chips were particularly good, and staff were very also helpful with dietary requirements). There was a nice, friendly vibe here and would happily return again. Great size TV for football, too (there was a match on the night I visited but only a few people seemed to be watching).

1. No draught beer available at this Browns 2. No prices on the drinks menu for beer. I was told it would be between £5-£6’ish depending on market prices. For a 330ml bottle Really? I’m sure Trading Standards would be interested 3. Shoved in the corner right by a very noisy drunken party when at the time of arrival there was plenty of room elsewhere in the restaurant Disappointing

Food and service was okay, but I was bribed with a shot to write a good review. So I guess it was good!

Alas no longer the Melrose. It has belonged to The Regency (next door) for some years and they decided to call it by an Italian name but it is still run as the old Melrose but with fewer dishes and prices still the same as next door. For years we though they were rivals, but no, same food, interchangeable waiters and, as always much emptier than next door.
