One of the best cafés and a personal favourite of mine. Blues cafe is a traditional cafe that's homely and welcoming, the staff are friendly and the food is amazing, it's a fairly priced establishment and service never fails to deliver.

Nice welcome on arrival and our waiter was great (although he was running around like a headless chicken as he was so busy) my dirty bird burger was disappointing...dry and not at all dirty. Definitely not worth the money. Ketchup saved the day. I would not order that meal again.

This is the third time we have dined here this year since the new management and what a pleasure it has been! Friends with us have been equally been impressed by the breadth and variety on the menu, especially as we are vegetarians but some of our friends are meat eaters. The service is friendly and welcoming, the decor and furnishings are comfortable and enhanced by excellent Christmas decorations so what more could anyone want!

Very strange menu nothing really to my liking and nothing for children either so it’s not somewhere to go with family…… ok ale but the menu needs to be bigger & nothing for a vegetarian my wife has recently become vegetarian for health reasons so we couldn’t eat here & don’t think we will return

We came in especially for a steak. As soon as we entered Laurie was very welcoming. Laurie was extremely efficient on info and order taking. Very helpful. Logan was organising condiments and was tireless in sorting it all out. The steak itself was amazing. Perfection. My colleague, a true foodie, said the same thing. Chips perfect. Peas perfect. Peppercorn sauce out of this world. Suffice to say, all round excellence. We will be back 💯

We visited on a Sunday, early evening following making a booking. We were seated straight away and were given the welcome option of a booth. Our server was very polite and attentive. Our food arrived promptly and was lovely. I will say the burger was a little dry but still good. We also have the burnt ends and beans side which I would definitely recommend. We will be back to try more of the menu….

Lovely pub staff nice and friendly. Staff are always nice and friendly, is always busy when we go. Have had Christmas dinner here for the past 4 years.

Staff were so nice and friendly as usual Ordered our normal drinks and then they came for our order. Food was amazing as usual. My husband had a chicken ticka masala curry with rice and a peshwami naan bread, which looked and was delicious. I had the Garlic Prawns with a side of rice (I have a smaller appetite), absolutely lovely and enough for me.

Popped in for drinks last night, we were welcomed by lovely, smiley attentive staff. Great atmosphere, highly recommend!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Gave a 2 because the waitress was lovely. Food terrible. Items missing, cold food, congealed cauliflower cheese and overcooked potatoes. Would not return! Did complain but fell on deaf ears.

This is the best cocktail bar in town. The guys here are the top notch crew. I come down here as I live quite close. The pressure is on due to the time of year. The manager, obviously stressed, but still gave me eye contact and smiled. 5☆. I'm an elderly woman enjoying a glass of wine but I don't feel awkward or that I shouldn't be here. I've worked in night clubs and bars for 52 years and yes I did lie about my age but these guys have it sorted. I cannot recommend them enough.
