The best restaurants serving British food in South East Holderness East Riding of Yorkshire Yorkshire and The Humber

This has become our chippy to go to. Can't beat the quality and freshness of the food. The fish is cooked from fresh and the chips are just delicious like they used to be. All thats missing is the news paper wrapping lol. My favourite is the fish fritters. The chips are soft and fluffy on the inside and a light crisp on the outside, the fish just melts in your mouth and is not watery. You can taste the freshness. The batter is light and golden and gives a lovely crispy bite. The fish fritters are juicy and nothing is greasy. This chippy has the best curry sauce by far and the gravy is nice and thick. Definitely the best chippy in East Riding of Yorkshire.

We called in for a drink.Never again the locals continually threw abuse at each other even the barmaid joined in.We drank up quickly and left the atmosphere is toxic.

Had a Christmas dinner and pudding. It was delicious. Very hot, tasteful and well presented. The lady who served us was polite and helpful. The Shores centre was lovely and hot. Would really recommend getting a meal here, prices are low but food is top notch.

What a lovely pub/place to eat. We called for drink and to see the menu...great choice of food and service was lovely. Nice and cosy and the view is lovely. Nice choice of drinks and good and great prices.

This place used to be lovely and always busy, now it is empty and awful, i asked if i could get a burger and was told sorry mate no burgers on the Sunday menu then sat down and there was cheeseburger on the menu!! ordered our 4 meals and only 3 arrived so my daughter had to sit and wait 20 minutes for a macaroni cheese and then eat it on her own as we had finished our meal! We wont be going back.

What a lovely pub - with really nice meals. We stayed for a weekend in one of the dog friendly rooms and had a brilliant weekend. Lovely staff and very friendly locals. Bumper the spaniel was a particular attraction and made friends with our Labrador! This is a great location with lovely beach walks. A great pub to stay at for a weekend away.
