The best restaurants serving British food in East Riding of Yorkshire Yorkshire and The Humber

Had lunch myself and my family, food was terrible and cold. The owner “Craig” was very abrupt. A lady called Nicola was very rude also, please AVOID!!!

This cafe has just changed hands, is been renovated by new owners, also allows dogs inside, and a new menu starts next week

Called in for Sunday lunch to be told no beef left so we ordered steak pie with chips and veg, steak pie with mash and veg. Waited 45 minutes for the food to arrive. A piece of baked puff pastry had been placed on top of a dish of cold beef chunks in a gloopy gravy. Veg were Luke warm and mashed potatoes which were solidified. Totally inedible. Asked someone to come and see the meals and was asked if I wanted some cake to take home instead. I declined the offer. Very poor service, disgusting food and not so much as an apology. Would definitely not recommend eating here. (The cost of this was £29. 30 With 2 soft drinks) Unfortunately didn’t take photos

We usually enjoy coming here. But today with it being a Sunday, it was extremely busy. And unfortunately that meant not enough staff was on in the cafe, saying that, we did see a number of staff coming from the back which I am guessing is the kitchen. But not one person jumped on the till, to help the poor lady that was in the front, so the que was very long. To that Lady well done. You was very polite and didn't look stressed, but guessing you was. To the rest. Shame on them!! Karma.

Bought a corned beef & steak bake pasty & 2 sausage rolls. What a horrid dinner, could not tell the pasties apart, could have been a average dog food inside as a filling. Not sure our dog were interested, normally he's all eyes when we're having a takeaway, not this time? Greggs & poundbakery are 100s times nicer, at least you can tell what the filling is. Never again!!

Attractive looking pub. Visited for the set Xmas menu. Friendly staff, temp manageress and young female server, both attentive. Starters and mains all nicely presented and tasty. Too full for desserts so they boxed them up to take home. Good value for money.

Visited here with a family of 6 for a Saturday lunch. The staff were all very polite and professional. Good selection of drinks, served in clean glasses. Food was delicious and perfect for a light lunch. I had the soup and a sandwich option and the rest of the family went for the sandwich, chips and salad garnish option. All lovely. You could tell the meats were freshly carved, and that the coleslaw was homemade, as were the chunky chips! A really nice lunch trip, in a beautiful setting; just what we were looking for. Thank you to the staff of the pub and the kitchen.

The Bell Driffield is in lovely town, lots of bars with live music a real good feeling in the bars. The Bell Hotel. The staff very helpful, the rooms very oldi worldie very spacious and comfortable, and clean, breakfast was very good and well worth the money, The lady's running the spa, where extremely helpful , the treatments where very enjoyable and a very reasonable price, would highly recommend . Solía comer mucho aquí. Sin embargo ahora comer en otro lugar debido a los altos precios y el mal servicio. Llamé hoy y no lo haré de nuevo. Nada ha mejorado. Lugares mucho más bonitos en la zona. Evitaría.

We had booked a Christmas dinner for a group of friends, several of us were disabled. One lady was given a small meal, when she had paid for a normal sized meal. Because she walked with 2 canes could not collect her own meal, it came with no Yorkshire pudding, she was told because she had her meal served to her, she forfeits a Yorkshire pudding!. I complained on her behalf because this was surely wrong attitude to have to a clearly disabled person who is also recovering from major surgery and unable to carry anything. The staff were uncaring and appeared oblivious to the embarrassment and upset they put my dear friend through. Okay they were busy but a bit of care and respect for their patrons would have been nice. If I hadn't brought the matter up to another staff member, by making my point that she couldn't carry her own plate. It would not have been sorted. This spoilt the Christmas meal for us all and I was shocked by the idea of penalizing a disabled person in this way, then not even bothering with an apology!.

Always go this bar when visiting bridlington very friendly and old fashioned but traditional great food great beers and george is really friendly and talkative keep up the great work george👍👍👍👍

Great little country pub, had a lovely family meal, great options and vegan options too, service was brilliant and the meal was gorgeous! Happy family all round! We will be back soon

Called in tonight as seen family pub and dogs welcome on their sign.....just our street. Well. Absolutely gobsmacked with the prices, cheep and cheerful. Brie, as discussed as in the cheese, absolute delight, what a barmaid! Signposted me to everything I was drinking and offers, could jot have asked more of her, saleswoman in the making! We will be back, with child and dog 😊 cannot recommend any higher

Finalmente buen café en Bridlington! El lugar estaba excepcionalmente ocupado, pero el servicio era lo suficientemente bueno y amable con el personal, aunque obviamente estaban estirados Teníamos claras planas y tostadas que eran buenas y no demasiado caro
