We waited an hour for eggs and toast. Owner only cared about Door Dash orders going out the door. Given that Courtenay has so many great casual dining places, give this one a pass. Give your business to restaurants that care about providing good service to their customers.

Had pre booked for a table of four as spending the weekend in Bridlington. On the night of our booking we turned up all looking forward to our meal to find that the restaurant was closed. The staff had our telephone number so why didn’t someone call to tell us it wouldn’t be open. We then had to spend another hour finding somewhere to eat…..they don’t deserve the business if the can treat their customers like this. Apparently we were told happens often so all please be aware if you are willing to chance this restaurant

Come here quite often with partner. Decided to visit with family and baby as a change. We got here just before 2pm and decided from the menu that we would have afternoon tea so we wasted time until 2:30 when afternoon tea was available to be told this has to be booked. Could it not state on the menu or website that this has to be booked? By saying it's available from 2:30pm it's implying that it doesn't need to be booked. Was very disappointed as was looking forward to this. As we were deciding on something else to eat we realized from the rude staff member that there was hardly anything left available on the menu including no jacket potatoes. Food we did end up with was very nice as always at good prices. Sat outside which was clean and tidy. May consider booking the afternoon tea in the future but I suggest it's added to the menu to prevent disappointing.

Little cafe. Snacks were ok a tea and coffee tasted very good, but had to wait a long time to be made and delivered to table. Also tables not cleaned, a chair covered in spilt drink seemed to be ignored and not cleaned. Pity front of house let's this cafe down.

Pleasant restaurant area, although a little cold. Mixed bread starter was disappointing - two small breads that were very hot having been microwaved. No real flavour to the breads at all. Steaks were well cooked and bottle of wine deal for £12 was good value. Restaurant was very quiet so there was little atmosphere.

Visited recently with family, there was 8 of us so reasonable size group. We were notified when being seated there could be up to half an hour wait on food, no problem. Starts came out pretty quick and party all enjoyed the food. We then waited approximately 50 minutes for the mains, this isn't too bad but for the whole time the dishes from our starters remained on the table and were still there when the mains arrived. We had to clear the plates ourselves to make room for the mains, which for the most part were lukewarm and dry. A few of the party ordered desserts, again when these arrived the starter and main dishes were still on our table. Food was what you would expect for the prices although would of been better if it had not sat for so long. Could of gone lower then 4 stars but like to give benefit of the doubt that this wasn't the usual.

Not sure why the mixed reviews here to be honest. Just returned from an excellent Sunday roast, firs time at the veneue. Service was exceptionally good, very friendly, super efficient, and enjoyed every bite of our roasts and deserts! Will definitely return.

Ordered pizza it came dry hardly any cheese when I complained they said cooked to specification I will have my money bk then still charged me for the drink no apology either ! I eat whetherspoons pizzas every week !

This place used to be lovely and always busy, now it is empty and awful, i asked if i could get a burger and was told sorry mate no burgers on the Sunday menu then sat down and there was cheeseburger on the menu!! ordered our 4 meals and only 3 arrived so my daughter had to sit and wait 20 minutes for a macaroni cheese and then eat it on her own as we had finished our meal! We wont be going back.

I went here with my daughter and decided we would eat whilst we were there - that was a big mistake!! My daughter decided to have the vegetarian breakfast, no vegetarian sausages so she said she would still have it without the sausages, They asked if she would like an extra portion of anything, agreed to have extra hash browns. White or brown bread? Brown please. When it arrived no extra hash browns, soggy cold spinach, undercooked egg, white bread and real bacon!

La hermosa comida aquí en el sitio de caravana de The Café in Park Rose bien vale la pena una visita y tuve la chaqueta de papa con queso y frijoles y tuve el batido de chocolate shimoo que la amable joven hizo un trabajo impresionante haciéndome el batido de chocolate shimoo y todo estaba delicioso y estuve en este café en octubre de 2019, que es hace 5 años que es mi visita al café para almorzar allí también.

Very small portion for the price they charge...i suppose the small portion didnt really matter as it was un edible anyway! Cold, dry chips and horrible wet soggy batter. Sorry Stuarts you need to do better!!
