Pips Chips is a little gem. If you want really good quality traditional fish n chips, pies etc, or anything else off Pips great menu, you won’t be disappointed. We’re occasional visitors to Grimsby and always try to visit Pips, it’s just great. Lovely food including homemade gravy and sauces etc, we can’t praise them enough.

a wonderful venue for this humble meal. batter on the fish was average if not slightly under cooked. chips were okay. peas good. too much butter on the bread. and the vinegar, why oh why would anyone dilute vinegar. so if you want average this is the place to be, the score would have been to if not for the venue it was eaten in.

I was not very pleased with the price of 2 slices of toast £2.50 is outrageous don’t get me wrong but the toast was ok it was just the price for 2 coffees and 4 slices of toast was £9.80 that’s a joke so I won’t be going there again also we had to wait 25 minutes for the toast

Cake and a pot of Tea really really Great and the staff are so nice and will see to your order fast and you get your pot of tea fast after you order

had the best birthday the staff were very friendly they even cut my cake fantastic food i would definitely recommend this restaurant i will definitely be going back

we would like to thank evie-may and all of the staff today at the cafe! our little boy got locked in the car some how and these members of staff went above and beyond to help us in any way they could! they are all certainly a credit to your business! big thank you to everyone who helped us! we are so grateful for every one of you! x

Delicious chips, lovely bbq chicken and cheese panini with salad. Lovely portion size and great value for money. Definitely would visit here again. Very clean cafe as well.

Items missing which we were not informed about and for 5 missing items we were offered a piece of toast, the person in charge was so rude and hostile to another table we couldn’t even approach her to talk about this and bacon so burnt it crumbled at the touch of the fork

Had a private party for my sons wedding. The venue was dirty.. the toilets disgusting. Guests complained of dirty seats. Table cloths not ironed and mess everywhere Buffet not as described. So disappointing and very embarrassing for us.
