The best restaurants serving British food in Sheffield Yorkshire and The Humber

Visited after Christmas and enjoyed to Christmas lunch menu. However, I didn't like where we was sat. Too near the entrance and everyone waiting for a table was almost sat on us looking over us. The sun was low and glaring through the window so we had to balance menus in the window, blinds or vinyl is definitely needed. My child's food always came out last when usually this should be first as they take the longest to eat. The desert was nearly forgotten about. I understand it was busy, but we did pre-book our table and meals so would have hoped for a better service. I will return again though as we have been prior to this and had a great experience. I would just take this as constructive feedback 🙂

We visit the steel foundry at least once a month and every time it's a great afternoon out, the staff are always very friendly and helpful aswell as being very hard working, the quality of the of my usual lager (stella) is always 100%, the speed at which your order arrives from the app is amazing which means your food is always piping hot,all in all I would highly recommend a visit to this place even if your not already at meadowhall for something else.

Muy buena vergüenza pub sobre el servicio. No nos retrasará volver. Esperando una comida y queso de coliflor extra tenía que pedirlo. mis nietas hamburguesa estaba fría no sabía hasta hoy. No le ofrecieron condimentos esperando tanto tiempo por una copa de vino que estaba caliente cuando se trataba de mesa.

Lovely and friendly and didn't mind the kids being kids

Decidimos tener un poco de comida y bebida. Tuve un buen filete, que era muy agradable y buena relación calidad-precio, ya que esperaba que fuera caro, pero estaba muy sorprendido.

Sausages were rock hard not very nice

University bar, it is what it is, free function room for a cycling club meeting.

Love this pub now it's under new management. Great selection of beers and now does food too. Sadly the main courses are not available till after 5pm.

Nice place to visit in Sheffield. The winter gardens are attached and there is plenty to see and have a quiet coffee in the gardens. There's plenty of restaurants nearby if you want something more substantial.

Have had quite a few meals here, always great but Unfortunately when I went for Christmas dinner, they were completely packed, and seemed to be struggling with the amount of people service and quality of food were no way near the usual standard, so from now on I’m avoiding busy periods.

This is our favourite local pub for Friday evenings! Staff is very friendly, amazing service and good range of drinks and food. Loads of parking too! Well done Gary!

Fuimos a la isla de Kelham a pasear y nos encontramos con los pubs de gatos gordos que celebran 43 años de existencia. Tuvimos una gran tarde y noche con música en vivo, grandes cervezas y buena comida, el pastel y las patatas fritas fueron excepcionales gracias.
