The best restaurants serving British food in England

Had breakfast baguettes with coffee. Tasty and freshly prepared by a friendly member of staff. A welcome result having been let down by the premier inn breakfast!

This is a stop off most mornings after dropping the Partner off at work. 5 minute walk from the main carparks in wednesfield behind the town centre. Always friendly staff, good hot pasties, pizza, bacon rolls and most other Gregg's items. Coffee is always good and fresh and hot. Outside chairs and tables close to all other shops and chemists . Best cafe in wednesfield, not to be missed

Had an absolute sarnie dilemma when I visited this Gregg's, wor lass had sent me out to get a tandoori chicken baguette, law and behold there were none when I got there, messaged wor lass with the situation and she was pretty miffed about the baguette crisis, told me to ask behind the counter. Asked the lad if there was any in the back, off he went and returned with not one but two tandoori chicken baguettes. Absolute hero. Wor lass got what she wanted and I got a steak bake, lovely stuff. The Gregg's itself is located right next to the bookies, pasty and a gamble, a match made in Stanley.

Always fresh made food from the best ingredients. Always served with a friendly smile from the Pie Man van. Good value and fair prices. Good range of food including vegan choices

A canine cuddle cafe is the sort of place one would expect to find in the trendier parts of London which is why it was such a surprise to come across this little gem in Malton. That said, Malton has been awarded the title 'dog friendliest town in the UK.' We just love this cafe where several different breeds of happy dogs (which all belong to the cafe owner) are available for endless cuddles. The cuddles are accompanied by a variety of teas, coffees and home baking. Thalia, the owner, informed us that the venue and a selection of doggies can be hired for children's parties. Apparently an alcohol licence can be obtained for grown up parties. A visit to Malton would not be complete without a visit to Mixmups. We highly recommend. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon.

Lovely service, real English atmosphere and realy good breakfast. We were to late for dinner when we came, but they fixed up something anyway and it was realy good.

First time visiting the area called in for fish and chips at lunch time eat inside found the food excellent very friendly staff. Will call again when in the area. Thanks

Sucedí en el café mientras caminaba por la calle Regents. Estaba buscando una buena taza de té y un pastel a un precio razonable, ¡y eso es exactamente lo que encontré! Recomiendo encarecidamente este pequeño oasis en medio de la ciudad.

Una gran selección de sabrosas salchichas disponibles y sorprendentes patatas dauphinoise. Siempre es el mismo que sirve, es muy amigable y está feliz de ofrecerle porciones más pequeñas si no tiene mucho apetito. Solamente efectivo.

Popped in during our Christmas break for a quick warm coffee and sausage roll with my husband and 3yr old. The gentleman running the cafe was so welcoming, laid back and friendly we are so glad we popped in. Coffee was lovely sausage roll was a good’n and the scone was delicious too. We are lucky to still have independently run cafe’s around Ely and I will be supporting this little gem during future visits to the city. Keep doing what you do as you do it so very well and I hope this place survives the corporate takeovers of high streets. We will be back!

My wife and I recently had a function at All Saints Chapel and if we could give it more stars...we would. Ever since our first meeting with Dariana she has gone above and beyond to make our function the most special time possible, and it truly was. The chapel was the only venue we saw and instantly fell in love with it - if you're looking for the wow factor....this place has it in spades!! We were meant to have our function in May 2020 but due to covid this was put on hold - however Dariana was just amazing - she kept everything on hold without charging extra like so many other venues we read about had done with other functions - nothing is too much trouble for this lady, she is simply first class. We had the most exceptional afternoon tea, the building looked stunning and it was the most perfect day in every way possible. Would highly recommend this wonderful place for your function. ok due to government laws only the cafes and restaurants who have a take away are allowed to open some restaurants and cafes that are in supermarkets are closed down but the rest of the supermarkets are open though the as I say cafes and their restaurants are closed my support worker and I went to Asda and look round and then bought a mug of coffee to take away

Great country pub, staff were excellent and the food was amazing, big portions. Great atmosphere, dogs welcome. Would highly recommend this pub.

I had the Steak and Alnwick Stout pie with Buttery mash, mushy peas and gravy - with out a doubt the best pie I’ve ever eaten, The steak melted in your mouth. If you order from Belta Pie Co. you won’t be disappointed!

Visited the establishment on Saturday morning with my wife and the service and food was excellent staff were very friendly and helpful
