The best restaurants in England

We stopped in Jackdaws coffee House, I was with three other friends and we had been riding our bikes in the local areas, we all ordered a drink and panini, when I ordered my drink I asked the male person if I could specifically have my hot chocolate made hot, I could tell by his response that he wasn't really interested , he had my money and that was all that mattered, and low and behold when the waitress brought my hot chocolate it was just Luke warm, I then had send it back to be heated, also my friend ordered tea, his panini arrived at the table and he asked the waitress if his cup of tea was coming, he then waited again and asked again, then a waitress came and asked what the drink was, all in all he asked a total of four times for a cup of tea that he had paid for,infact he was first out of the four of us to order, none of the staff in this cafe are English, maybe they don't realise in the uk we like hot drinks, the service in the cafe is absolutely useless, they like to charge you a good price for drinks, but don't deliver on service, I would never go back I would find somewhere else. What a let down.

Very tasty ice-cream, friendly service and great location. Seemed the more popular ice cream place nearby, which is q good sign. Not particularly cheap, but no where is nowadays. Definitely recommend

Sprout is such a gorgeous shop and cafe, with truly the friendliest loveliest staff. It always feels like an actual treat to visit this place! Such delicious food (I absolutely love their farinata!) and drinks from their cafe, and my favourite place to stock up on healthy, delicious, unique and staple ingredients and treats, including ones that can be tricky to find elsewhere. It's honestly a joy each time I visit Sprout, always brightens up my day, with its warm, friendly, community spirited atmosphere. So lucky to have this shop in Newquay! :)

This restaurant is a great spot to relax, eat good food and enjoy your day. Their menu has a variety of Portuguese food (all of it delicious and satisfying to the stomach)! The staff are very kind and make the portuguese food more authentic.The desserts are lovely and the sangria is one of the best I’ve ever had! I would recommend this place to all my friends. I’m definitely coming again! Complements to the chef!!!

Our first visit here last Monday and it won't be our last. Friendly staff, quality food and generous portions. This will definitely be our new go to Cafe when we're in Loughborough.

Este pequeño salón de té (ahora conocido como Ashwell and Co) es una joya absoluta! Muchas gracias al equipo por acoger el té de la tarde más maravilloso para mi cumpleaños. Absolutamente todo era casero y tan delicioso! Había un par de nosotros con necesidades dietéticas especiales: soy vegano y uno de los participantes tiene necesidades médicas, lo que significa que están en una dieta limitada. Esto no desconcertó en absoluto al equipo: me proporcionaron un té vegano por la tarde y se esforzaron por incluir a la otra persona en mis celebraciones. El salón de té es parte de una tienda que está llena de la más maravillosa selección de ropa vintage y artículos para el hogar. Mientras estuve allí me compré un precioso cardigan de punto que es perfecto para los meses de otoño/invierno. Así que en general salí muy feliz y disfruté mi cumpleaños a fondo. Disfrute de un té por la tarde aquí - no se decepcionará!

What a fantastic place. Great coffee, lemon shortbread was divine. We had lots of delicious sandwiches, toasties and bagels. Fabulous friendly service too!

I decided to visit this coffee house whilst on a shopping trip today. Unfortunately the initial pleasant ambiance was ruined by a lady worker, shouting very aggressively at a young member of staff who looked very upset and shocked. She chose to reprimand him publicly without showing any concern for how that affected him, her other stuff and the experience of customers on the premises. Her unprofessional attitude and conduct was shocking to witness. I frequent many coffee houses and cafes across the town but absolutely nothing could encourage me to return here and I will advise friends and family of my poor experience of this place too.

Tres de nosotros llamamos aquí dos veces el viernes 22 de noviembre. Nuestro primer descanso a media mañana fue solo para tomar el té / café. Las ollas de té que comimos costaron 2 libras: 50 y cada uno tenía al menos dos + tazas de cada olla. Un café blanco plano le costará 3 libras: 25 . Nuestra segunda visita fue para comida y más bebidas. Esta vez dos de nosotros comimos el sándwich de salchicha triple a £ 3 cada uno y uno tuvo el sándwich de tocino triple a £ 3. La comida es servida por algunas damas realmente encantadoras que son muy eficientes, amables y te hacen sentir como en casa. Es solo un lugar muy pequeño y se llena especialmente a la hora del almuerzo. Recomendamos encarecidamente una visita aquí y disfrutar de algo de comida y una bebida. Gracias señoritas.

What a lovely place this is, with very friendly staff and some tasty but not too expensive wines, and they do some very tasty food as well. Happy to recommend and can't wait until we are back in Worthing so we can go here again.

I was pleased to discover this little gem here. Tried some amazing wine and the assistant Sophie was amazing, really welcoming atmosphere and I will definitely be making a return

He estado aquí un par de veces y tengo que decir que es un lugar encantador. Buen menú con muchas opciones para satisfacer la mayoría de los requisitos dietéticos. Tuve el salmón y huevos revueltos que estaba delicioso y muy bien presentado. ¡Una porción generosa también! El servicio también es genial, con un personal amable y servicial. Tamu es una maravillosa adición a la calle principal en Bearwood.
