We have recently had our wedding here at dovecliff me and my wife felt like queens. The staff gave us 5star experience, they couldn’t do enough for us. Our wedding was truly amazing with thanks to Jordan and all the staff at Dovecliff. We will definitely be returning for a meal or show. Jordan and the staff couldn’t do enough for us and were so accommodating in every way possible. The planning of the day went perfectly and smoothly. We had an amazing time on our visit to The Zetland for joint birthday celebrations. The whole group couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome and the service was great throughout. Everyone commented on how good the food was and the 3 course prix fixe menu was great value for money!

Had a great time tonight, 1st time we have been in the pub, had met to support St John's Carol sing along. Great atmosphere proper beer and welcoming landlord and lady. Will be taking our St Bernard for a visit and photo shoot soon.

Always freshly cooked and generous portions, sensibly priced service with a smile and always made to feel welcome, Pisces is the Best Fish & Chip Shop in Wickford , wouldn't go anywhere else

We actually used their 56 restaurant for a meal and as usual it was superb.

Called in this cafe whilst waiting for a bus today.Really clean,staff were very welcoming and friendly. I only had a coffee (which was lovely)and a toastie which was made exactly as I liked will return and try something more as breakfasts ,lunches looked good to. Well done in keeping up a "good stop for a Saturday cafe" !

We have been for a Sunday roast here for the past 3 weeks and brought friends and family along with us, all agree it's the best pub roast they have had in a long time. The selection of veg is great, delicious meat and plenty of gravy. Our dog Molly loves it there too and enjoys her little doggy bag at the end. Friendly, attentive staff and very reasonably priced. The place has a great, friendly, local pub vibe! Shhh don't tell anyone!

Honestly the best fish and chip shop in Helston! From the moment you step in, you know you’re in for a treat. The chips are the perfect balance of crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. The cod bites? Absolutely divine. Flaky, tender fish wrapped in a golden, perfectly seasoned batter that’s just the right amount of crisp. And let’s talk about that curry sauce – rich, savory, with a hint of spice that complements the chips and cod bites perfectly. Every element of this meal was cooked to perfection, and it’s clear that Nettles takes great pride in their food. To top it all off, the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Whether you’re a long-time local or just passing through, this is a must-visit gem for anyone craving the best in fish and chips. Highly recommended!

We have been a couple of times now and couldn't fault the food. Sometimes, it takes a minute, but I think that depends on your order, certainly worth the wait. It's delicious each time we've been and will absolutely be going back. Also worth mentioning, I have a food allergy, and they were very considerate of that, which I really appreciated.

As usual what I'm looking for is great food, exemplary service and a reasonable price. This pub hit the mark on all counts. Visited on a Sunday and whilst a Roast isn't my favorite meal when eating out, this was excellent - from the crackling to the roasties and the gravy but especially the Yorkshire pudding. Friendly and prompt service from the young wait staff and a bill that was smaller than I expected, rounded it all off.

Quiet and Relaxing Atmosphere. Friendly service and delicious food.

It is the best fish N chips in the town and I have tried pretty much all of the shops in the town over the last year. Using paper and cardboard boxes means even if your food gets delivered it stays so much fresher. Maybe cook the smokey sausage a little less but the batter is crispy and chips are bigger than an inch long unlike most other chippys in the town. Keep up your high standards, Thank you for such nice food.

This is my favourite cafe, i love a matcha oat latte and they make the best one!
