Excellent food and experience. Such a copy place to eat on a damp dark day. We were a party of nine and we all had different meals. Every one of us loved the food and atmosphere. I will definitely be eating here next time I'm in town!

I've not eaten here my review is for drinks. Excellent venue, landlord very friendly and all about the community. Good bar staff your not stood around waiting for long periods. Has live acts on definitely recommend

Had dinner here, twas a tad disappointed in my meal, but my companion was very happy. Quite pricy for a small portion of a rather flavourless meal.

Latest trip as good as always. Gary put on a tasting menu for our wonderful Pilates class and instructors. Great food, great atmosphere and lovely people. Will be back again soon

A brilliant B&B. Having stayed in hotels for many years, this B&B was booked as I was attending a wedding nearby. It has changed my mind on staying in B&B again. Trevor the owner and host was terrific, even when he tried to pull my leg with terrible jokes! Fabulous old building with LOTS of character. Spotlessly clean, lovely and warm. Amazing breakfast and a host who couldn't do enough for you. Lots of nice touches.... just going the extra mile. As a solo women, I felt very safe. I highly recommend.

Came here for a breakfast, was served promptly and politely. Food was tasty, even better they serve sausages from archers so your know you’re getting quality for your money 👌 10/10 will be visiting again.

We went to the Long Bar and Grill with family on a Saturday evening. We had an excellent time and meal. All the staff were amazing and Jess who was our waitress was fantastic. Could not praise her enough and is a credit to your restaurant For example, always ensuring that our wine glasses were full and that everything was satisfactory. An excellent restaurant and would highly recommend, if I could give it six stars I would.

A great place to stay for a large group if you want to visit Devon. Shops nearby. Free and safe parking for several cars behind the cottage

Attentive service, delicious food on a very busy New Year's Eve. Well done to the whole team. Full marks if you'd had a pianist during our visit.

Absolutely delicious Sunday roast, totally recommend it and all the staff are lovely.
