Visiting from Vancouver, Canada 🇨🇦 and decided to have dinner here as most other places were packed or had long line ups. The bbq pork and roast pork was yummy. The beef brisket noodles was good too. Chili oil is a must!! Service was a bit slow but they were pretty busy. Prices were decent, but expensive for us, Canadians. Overall, it was enjoyable with good food and decent service.

This was our first time dining at this restaurant, and it was an unpleasant experience. The dumplings (xiaolongbao) were very disappointing. The dumplings (xiaolongbao) we received were shrunken. When we tried one, the skin was thick, and the filling was minimal. Having eaten dumplings in other Chinese restaurants in the UK and other Asian countries, we found this completely different from what we expected. Moreover, since the restaurant advertises itself as specializing in dumplings, we found this quite strange. We shared our feedback with a waitress, who was relatively polite. However, another waitress nearby had a terrible attitude. She launched into a long and rude tirade, accusing us of making things difficult for the restaurant staff. (We were only trying to provide feedback and we wondered if this was an exceptional case; if we don’t tell the waitstaff, are we supposed to speak directly to the chef?) Not wanting to cause a scene in public, we had to ask her to stop. Later, we requested to speak with the manager or person in charge in order to address the waitress’s bad attitude but no one was available. Therefore, we can only leave our comments here. In summary: -If you’re looking for good dumplings, avoid this restaurant. -The staff are rude.

Came here for lunch on Christmas day, I must say the experience was horrible and in particular they raises theirs price on that day for I could say “ greedy” owner not only wants to ripping people off and try to avoid reporting the sales to the government by asking people to be “cash only”. Terrible and I WILL never go back.

Very expensive. The food was ok, the duck and rice was very dry. Doesn't seem that fresh too. The staff was not that friendly. No smiles whatsoever, and when I said what I want they looked at me like I was crazy and asked me two more times if that's what i want. We felt like we were being watched.

Siempre he encontrado al personal diligente y agradable.

No podíamos decidirnos y arriesgarnos. Gran servicio, comida encantadora y personal amable.

Ive been to jen's quite a few times and always enjoyed the food but i have never been downstairs before today when i used the toilet, The toilet is situated at the back of a long hallway and quite dimly lit, when i walked back down the hallway on my way back there is a step down which is not visible so i had a little slip but no real problem, my wife went to use the toilet shortly after me and fell on the same step she hit the floor face down banging her knee and elbow which was very painful. Be very careful if using the toilet here! Hopefully they will address this trip hazard as it it is very dangerous.

Very rude manager. Because of the anger the manager provoked, I won't actually go back. Bullied and I mean I was bullied into a buying drinks. I didn't feel like alcohol and so I selected the tea, which was rather cheap. In between my meal, I decided to Be sensible and not be part of the crowd that was nudging elbowing one another to try and get to the buffet tables. I was then asked to leave, because I was seen to not be eating. I told the manager I've only been. Here under an hour and he told me "it's the weekend and someone else deserves your table!". I then sarcastically asked "will you give me a paper cup to finish my tea and then escort me to the door". Well, he came over with a plastic cup for hot tea. Poured my tea in the plastic cup and grabbed my arm and assisted me to the door like I was scum. I told him "I won't ever come back here" and he replied "good, thank you!". This place only takes cash, because obviously if it was card I had paid, I have made a claim with my card issuer as I didn't receive the full service. Usual buffets have a 90 minute allowance. Let's just say, I actually hope the manager dies of cancer and never has a nice day again. That's what this type of people deserve that actually infringe on someone's civil right and customer right. I probably wouldn't have been so annoyed had I been refunded for my drink at least. Lastly, pay some VAT or take your business elsewhere!
