The best restaurants serving Chinese food in South West

Great value for money , if you pace yourself. There is a huge choice to choose from in this buffet . Nepalese , Indian , Chinese, and Thai. You have 90 minutes to eat .. which I understand and you will probably be full before then . Sensibly they will charge you extra if you waste food .. so a little and often . All in all it is good .

Delicious food and good service

I placed quite a large order, it came to around £50. When it arrived 50 minutes later, all the food was lukewarm at best and they had switched my curry parcels for a curry sauce and mixed up one of my rices, when I called back I was told that I was wrong and they would not fix the issue. Not great

One of the best chinese meals I have had for a long time.

Sadly the China Orchids is still a take away so all we have are memories of the enjoyable evenings we had in the restaurant. In the spirit of stick with what you know we have remained loyal and often use their take away service. Recently there was a slight problem with one of the meals and we received an immediate apology and the promise that £20 would be deducted from our next order. They honoured their agreement last night and we had a superb meal delivered for my wife's birthday, piping hot, on time and with the cost reduction. The portions were generous, so much so, that I have just tucked into another meal for lunch today. The take away menu is extensive and we try something different each time we order. The staff are helpful, keen to explain the constituents of the dishes or make something to your specifications.

No wonder the place is so dead for a Friday night, even the phones for takeaway were quiet. looked online and found this place, drove 20 mins away for it, only to find the menu was a lot higher than online prices, wouldn’t mind paying this if the food was nice and portions reasonable. Was charged for prawn crackers when the bill was £90+ what happened to free prawn crackers, we paid £8 for 3 ribs disgusting and wasn’t even that nice, the chicken balls weren’t that nice, the rest was okay but portions not great for the price, when we mentioned the stuff we were unhappy about the woman was super argumentative about trying to justify it. And the bill come and the prices were higher than was the as on the menu agajn. Drinks were advertised as a coke but was given Pepsi, only a small thing but it’s a big difference, just advertise what you have

Waited for over an hour for the food after being told there were only 2 orders in front of mine! I was told it would not take long for delivery. Awful.

Ordered over the phone and collected it was ready on time, the food was fantastic, hot, tasty, full of flavour highly recommend

Had a Chinese meal from Harbour city on Saturday night ,and I have to say it’s the worst meal I’ve had in years. Poor quality products in it,curry was bland and taste less ,spring rolls have changed, poor spare ribs not good value small portions and sweet and sour chicken awfuli could go on and on. After years of using it and all of my family over the years ,we will not be back and will take our business elsewhere . Such a shame as we always had good food from there ! prices up quality down 👎 No ulterior motive whatsoever nothing to gain at all !! I don’t run a Chinese takeaway, but I know good food this was not and a honest opinion !!

Very popular. Great choice of dishes, black bean beef was amazing. Really flavourful. Excellent portion size. Takeaway only.
