The best restaurants serving Chinese food in West Midlands

After a Terrible visit to Shifnal Balti, we went to see if we could find an Alternative place to eat for our party of 20 very annoyed with the disgusting atmosphere and atrocious service at Shifnal Balti!!! I spotted and entered Min’s and ask could they handle a party of 20 walk ins and they immediately said yes and quickly set up 2 tables of 10 got us seated and took drinks orders passed menu to select our choices. Drinks came quickly followed by the delicious food. The staff were warm and friendly and everyone enjoyed the food the drink and the warm pleasant experience! Well done All the staff at Min’s an unexpected visit but a Very much enjoyed one!

Mike had this shop for years it ran perfectly the new lady who is there has a attitude problem and I just waited 1:45 mins after calling she was rude and horrible and her attitude stinks she should not be answering a phone with her mannor will not be ordering again

Estuve en Coventry durante una semana y comí aquí en 2 momentos separados. También comí en algunos de los otros lugares chinos en Central Coventry, y este los supera a todos. Los precios eran un poco mejores, pero la comida era tan buena. La mejor parte era el personal. Muy amable y servicial e incluso me recordó cuando regresé en la segunda vez unos días después. Normalmente no recibo ese tipo de servicio de restaurantes chinos en absoluto, así que esto fue más allá de una excepción y ayudó a empujarlo a la revisión de 5 inicios. Las porciones eran un poco pequeñas, pero muy buenas y esa sería mi única crítica. Me aseguraré de volver si alguna vez vuelvo a Coventry otra vez...

Heard good things but can’t say we were impressed. Took nearly two hours to arrive after ordering. Food arrived cold and wasn’t great. £40 for two people, far too much for what arrived. Won’t be returning.

Amazing food every time, best Chinese in the area

Once again a great evening at Peninsular, the staff were very friendly and professional. Carol in particular made my father and I feel most welcome as always. The food was high quality, I would highly recommend this venue if you enjoy high quality Cantonese food matched with great service

Fui a Minhs anoche pedí una comida para llevar la comida era horrible, el arroz no era arroz frito con huevo, era arroz blanco con huevo revuelto en la parte superior, el curry era asqueroso cubierto de aceite 4 piezas de pollo principalmente hongos y cebollas, las patatas fritas estaban secas y parecían y sabían como si hubieran sido recalentados. La peor experiencia de mi vida, la señora detrás del mostrador era agradable. Solía ir a este restaurante hace años con mis hijos cuando vivíamos en Tettenhall la comida era encantadora entonces, nunca lo recomendaría de nuevo.

There’s a few different Chinese restaurants to use in the same town and we feel like we’ve found a gem here. Beautiful food, great quality and service with a smile. We had a set meal for 2 and each item of food was tasty and both my wife and I commented on how impressed we were. Will certainly be going back again.

Had a Singapore curry it was delicious 😋 lovely egggried rice and chips thanks mayflower

¿Quieres una noche en durante nuestro fin de semana fuera y consiguió una comida para llevar entregado. Entrega rápida y comida muy sabrosa. El pato literalmente se derritió en tu boca. Rollos de primavera gratis que fue un buen toque. Porciones de buen tamaño también.

Arrived to find only take away part open not good . Don't know if it's permeantly closed or not !! Can't say anything more !

After coming here numerous times, we’ve always had a lovely Chinese. My family come over from America for xmas, I’ve bought them here the last three years. This Xmas get together can only be described as appalling, family still waiting for their meals while other family members had eaten there’s. Some food was cold, numerous cock ups. Was offered 40# off the next time we came, very poor customer service, all teenagers working the bar & serving tonight. My family have refused to come back. Shocking!!

I don't understand the other reviews here. I've been here twice and planning more trips at the moment, although at the time of writing this it is temporarily closed (not sure why). I've been there with my parents and my boyfriend on different occasions and the service was lovely. Food tasted amazing, everything was clean and the plates were warmed. We also enjoyed some of the chocolate fountain. The price is completely reasonable.

Ordered here on Deliveroo, the food was pretty good, only thing I would have liked was more veg in the veg noodles as there wasn’t much in there
