The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

Great experience with amazing food, served by Sumera, very attentive and friendly. Would definitely come back.

I had previously been to the Rainbow Palace a number of times, the food was still great but i felt the way we were treated left alot to be desired. I had to ask 3 times for prawn crackers which are usually given straight away. When we received our food no usual dishes were given just the side plates which were already on the table. I noticed staff looking at us which made me feel uncomfortable. When we asked for the bill, the bill was put on the table, no fortune cookies which we noticed were given out to other tables but not to us. I am honestly not sure why we were not treated like the other customers and what usually happens when we visited before but it spoilt the meal and we have made the decision not to go there again or to recommend it to others which we have done previously.

The restaurant was lovely and clean, the staff were polite and attentive, the food was amazing and plentiful.

Complete rip off! £12 for basically noodles no meat. Black Lotus and Pork Ribs, total £30?!? Food came out within two minutes obviously premade. Dont understand the reviews?! Stomach is horrible few hours later... :(

Nunca comí algo tan insípido como esto. El pato crujiente no estaba y estaba frío. La carne chispeante era solo carne en salsa y el pollo dulce y agrio, no era dulce y no agrio Y dejó un terrible regusto en la boca durante horas. No podía comerlo. Además estábamos sentados al lado del baño. No higiénico Nunca volveremos

Food was Luke warm I expect it was pre cooked and heated when ordered due ti the sheer volume of customers on a Saturday night also staff were surly and impatient when I asked for a clean bowl and a spoon 🥹 extremely expensive too Therefore never setting foot in there again 🤣

This restaurant and team are masters at what they do and the cuisine they offer is truly superb. The conscientious service is prompt and friendly, nothing is too much trouble, the portions are generous, and their combination of flavours are succulent and delicious every single time. I've been coming to this wonderful place for over a decade now since they relocated from Bridgnorth, and it's well worth the journey each time. You're best booking to be on the safe side. The meal we had was absolutely fantastic tonight, thank you all.

This is an excellent venue for vegetarians (and non-vegetarians) to enjoy Chinese food. The vegetarian starter platter was devoured by us! The mains came in after a short gap and they were excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the ambience was very good. This place is highly recommended by me!

Me and my family have been coming to this place for well over 30 years and we always have a great time good food amazing service nice atmosphere and it’s absolutely spotless. Had my 50th birthday celebration there last night and it was just amazing everyone loved the food the atmosphere was great service was fast and efficient with a smile. Thank you to the owner and staff who are so good at there job.

Excellent Chinese in lovely surroundings. Consistently the best Chinese we have been to in the UK

Came in today, was looking forward to a nice sit down meal with my mates and was sat down and we ordered as there was 4 of us we ordered a lot of food but instantly the boss man became very aggressive and angry. Some of the food we couldn’t finish due to the poor quality of the food and tasted like poo. Felt under distress the whole rest of the meal and didn’t feel comfortable ordering what we wanted as everything was dictated by the staff.
