The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

Having read mixed reviews we weren’t sure about our visit. But we had a great time with fresh food cooked to order and as much as you wanted. Ok things arrived in a bit of a random order but no bother. The family that run the restaurant are really nice and friendly. It’s good value and a casual vibe. There were 7 of us and we were all well fed. Will return.

Same as similar reviews, young waiter and waitress extremely rude to me and my children especially the waitress to the point were I nearly walked out. Don’t mind the food, but nothing special, but the drinks every time we go are completely flat cheap drinks. Will definitely not be returning due to the young waitress attitude, and il be surprised if they have any custom left by the time they have finished with the customers… won’t be returning

had a chinese takeaway delivered..the food was really good, came really hot it’s the 2nd time i’ve had food delivered before and that time was really good aswell..definitely recommend

Still remains one of my favourite restaurants of all time. Haven’t been able to go for a while & after reading some recent (not so great) reviews on here I was worried things had changed, but they haven’t- still as good as ever. Yes inflation means they have increased their prices but at £32 a head I think is pretty good value for money. All you can eat, cooked to order fresh off the menu. It doesn’t get much better than that. The food is delicious, fresh, hot, served super fast & great quality. Have been coming here for easy 10 years now & even though I keep moving further away, I always end up travelling far to come here. Came midweek with a friend, we were here for almost 4 hours. We didn’t feel rushed at all, staff are friendly. Already looking forward to my next date night here!

Worst Chinese I've ever had dumplings dry and deffently really old and rank, the dipping sause for them is just malt vinegar with some ginger thrown on top. Duck with fresh mango was like jelly and rated rancid friends chow main was OK apparently

Cold food, starters are of poor quality, more like frozen bites one can purchase in a Supermarket. Duck was stringy and cold. Main courses were small and Luke warm. If one eats after 9pm and pay in cash, cost is at a concession rate. All in all a poor experience compared to how it was years ago.

Way outside my price bracket. I am not a wealthy man. I would prefer cheaper prices. C he raper prices would attract more locals.

Absolutely superb food and my go to place for both sit down and takeaway Chinese food. I travel around with work and this place holds its own with the best around. Service was as we like it and staff asked us every step of the way how fast we wanted each course, smiling and caring. Kato came out to great us before it got too busy.

Nice meal, great size portions. One main was salty. Had the fixed menu, staff would not change a main course unless we paid for the deluxe menus. First two courses very good, well cooked and presented. Main was good except for prawn in black bean, which was rather salty. Couple on the next table did not eat any of one of their beef mains, saying it was far too salty to eat, so do complain if you can't eat it. We managed ours but would have preferred less salt, rest of the mains were good in quality and presentation.

Absolutely terrible, poorly lit, pot hole ridden car park. We had the buffet, the starters were ok, but the 2nd and 3rd courses were awful. Bland in flavour and tiny in portion size and way over priced. There are cheaper Chinese restraunts that do far better quality food. Will never go back here again

We placed an order online for. Set meal for two. We have had this meal before so were confident we knew that the quality of the food would be good. The delivery did not arrive at the scheduled time, it was peak Saturday night takeaway time... so kind of expected some delay.We called to chase up after 30 minutes of the scheduled time; we were told it would be on its way in 10minutes. It was a further 20 minutes and just as we were about to call again that it arrived.The food was still warm and they had put a little extra in for us. We throughly enjoyed our food and will use again. However will probably go too collect.Our experience of most delivery services during COVID on Friday and Saturday has resulted in delays with delivery. So we are judging on the food and only taking of 1 point for the delivery being slow.

We had an early dinner and we were the only diners so the restaurant lacked atmosphere. They were however a stream of deliveries going out so it looked good We have a very tasty meal with all the dishes of good quality
