Now renamed as GreenBox Sushi, this Japanese restaurant is no longer a buffet. Inside the seating is very dark and dingy, with delivery supplies and clutter over half of the tables. We decided to eat outside as it was lovely weather. The menu we were given to browse was paper stapled together, no lamination or design. When ordering I asked for coke, which was on their menu, they didnāt have coke so we had to opt for Pepsi. When taking my food order the receptionist told me that they were busy with lots of deliveries and had to go ask the kitchen staff if it was okay to take my order! I had the tofu ramen and my partner had the pork ramen with a side of gyozas. Gyozas were fried instead of steamed, no sauce provided and were luke warm in the middle. I believe they cost Ā£6.50, so from a price point this is quite underwhelming. However the ramen was delicious! We opted for the spicy broth and it went lovely with the tofu and beansprouts! Definitely would recommend the ramen as itās full of flavour and quite a large portion! I was again disappointed that the cutlery provided was a fork and spoon. We eat Japanese and Chinese cuisine often at home as Iām a huge fan of recreating dishes, we are used to eating with chopsticks and it felt very wrong eating ramen with a fork! I would suggest investing in washable steel chopsticks, that way you save chopstick waste but keep the authentic Asian feeling.

We have loved woks up and wouldn't go anywhere else, but tonight we have noticed a big change. 1st was the starter box, it had no BBQ ribs or seaweed in it, just lots of fried chicken and fried ribs thatcwere tasteless.. Skinny chicken that has been my favourite meal was full of ginger tonight ( I absolutely hate ginger, so this meal is now a big no from me) also the honey and lemon chicken was totally different and not as nice. Not sure what has changed but really hope it can return to the wonderful food we have had previously.

i wouldnāt recommend. while the food wasnāt bad, the waiter, upon being told that i was a vegetarian and would want a separate plate to the rest of my party, went on a ten minute tangent about how i donāt āfit the profileā of a vegetarian. this is because āvegetarians are usually slim, and you are notā. he then went on to reiterate this a few more times in different ways, laughing despite the rest of our table was silent. as somebody who has suffered with multiple mental illnesses, including bulimia and body dysmorphia, this really made the rest of the meal very difficult to enjoy. i know i cannot expect the waiter to know my medical history, but that is the exact reason you do not say things like this. my father in lawās birthday meal, which he paid a lot of money for, was then clouded with an air of awkwardness that continued throughout the entirety of the meal.

Not long moved to the area and fancied a Chinese takeaway. Had a look online and found Jasmine. The full is available lots of choice. Decide to order half a duck with pancakes, prawn crackers, boiled rice, crispy chilli beef and sweet & sour chicken. We phoned and placed the order and drive to pick it up. Food was delicious. I highly recommend the duck and the sweet & sour chicken, Will definitely be using again,

We have been staying in the area and decided to try Shun Fat out. On our 1st visit we had a Cinese....egg fried rice, lemon chicken and sweet and sour chicken balls. We had to wait about 15-20 minutes as the place was packed. Very reasonably priced and better than any other I've tasted. On the 2nd visit we had fishcake, chips and battered sausages. Again delicious. The staff are so friendly and happy. There was also good banter between the staff and the owner "Richie" (I think that is his name). I have no hesitation in recommending this place....A**

This restaurant never fails to impress, ordered food for all family as a takeaway and have enough left over for the day after, nice big portions, quality of food is second to none, salt and pepper dishes were seasoned just right, the 15 minute dirve to collect is well worth it

Best Chinese in Stoke/Moorlands. The chinese takeaways in Werrington are rubbish, thankfully Golden Bowl deliver to us and they are great. Nice food, good price and fast delivery.

Absolutely gorgeous meal! Donāt listen to the previous and recent reviews! Our first visit to The Pearl after a friend recommended it to us. We had, In my opinion, the best takeaway weāve had for years! Non greasy, non oily, but extremely tasty, freshly cooked and fantastic value for money. The best thing for me was the sweet and sour chicken balls, ( the sauce was perfect and a natural colour, lovely consistency unlike other takeaways in the area) and the pork dumplings, wow, absolute heaven! Also the crispy chilli beef was fab! Highly recommend and will definitely return.

Ordered a special curry and egg fried rice. Ended up getting some scraps of chicken, 2 scraps of pork and 1 tiny prawn with a small portion of curry sauce poured over it. It wasn't cooked in curry sauce like a curry should be. There was no beef, no king prawns, peas, onions or normal size pieces of meat. It was discusting! I wouldn't advise anyone to order a curry.
