The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

Attended an event in Hounslow for a few days and got a number of takeaways from here. The food was fresh, and tasty; and the people were very friendly. They have a great selection of Indo Chinese dishes. I wouldn’t really recommend sitting down and eating there as the seating tables and floor were a bit dirty, and needed a good clean. In summary, a good place for quality Indo-Chinese food

An amazing place to get a Chinese meal from. The staff are wonderful and the food is delicious and quick to collect. They've now become our new go-to Chinese takeaway! Thank you and see you all soon.

This was my first takeaway and most definitely my last from here. Probably the worst Chinese I have ever tried, had special fried rice and ordered a curry sauce ( which was illuminous orange ) it had an omelette triangle thing on top and what looked like bisto gravy, not sure what it was being honest. It was very bland, the meat in it wasn’t the best. On a positive note, the service was quick ( does make me wonder )

Used this Chinese takeaway for years now. Have to say the service and food is consistently top draw. Sometimes frustrating that they will only take cash (must be casino nights 😂) but that’s my only grumble

See picture for the cold rubber things that should be fishcakes horrid burnt flat spring rolls. Chicken satay along with everything was cold. £40 for takeaway for 2 expect much more.

We have used Blossoms or its predecessors for over 25 years. Early days they were 5 star but of late standards have plummeted..won't e using them anymore

Bland, bland, bland. Never had such a tasteless Chinese. Maybe it was just a one off but should never happen at these prices

Excellent food and great service. We have been visiting Ken Ma regularly for many years now and the food is consistently fresh and of a high standard. Our favourite dishes include Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings, Crispy Aromatic Duck with pancakes, Crispy Chilli Beef and Sizzling Fillet Steak in Sichuan Sauce. Highly recommended!

Food is normally very good but their customer service is terrible. Had such a terrible experience with them after they got our order wrong. I called them just to flag the mistake but told them i wasn't asking them to change anything or give us anything as we were happy to eat what they sent in error but they absolutely would not accept that they were wrong and were incredibly rude. I will never order from them again.

Fully reopened after lockdown when only the take-away was serving, Sun Ya is better than ever. A younger generation are now in charge of this Family restaurant and (no disrespect to the elders) both food and customer care are excellent. Great value for food and wine too. A great place for both last minute meals for the two of us and for three-generation family parties. We’re lucky to have it as our local.

The people that work there are super nice, giving me extra food on top of what I got. Considering how amazing all the food is this is there is no real room for complaint.

Unfortunately the taste and food quality has gone down hill. This used to be our favourite Chinese takeaway in Bideford. The chicken curry was watery and lemon flavoured with no mushrooms or peas just chicken and onion, it was just about edible but not a nice taste, the other dishes were satisfactory, overall its definitely not as tasty as it used to be. It was reasonably priced however but we will try elsewhere next time

Tenemos comida para llevar en familia desde aquí durante alrededor de 5 años, ahora y especialmente si los amigos están de visita, ha sido fantástico y conveniente pedir una comida de 148. La semana pasada, de nuevo tuvimos visita familiar para el verano y hicimos un pedido considerable, pero desafortunadamente nos decepcionamos un poco con la completa falta de contenido de pollo en el Pollo Chow Mein - entre nosotros bromeamos que era cazar el pollo y en esta ocasión, simplemente lo dejó así! El domingo por la noche, nuestros invitados se ha ido y de nuevo decidimos pedir a partir de 148 , en nuestro menú habíamos incluido el Pollo Chow Mein pero una vez más nos sentimos muy decepcionados al encontrar diminutas hebras de pollo, casi hasta el punto de ser inexistente. Llamamos para explicar que no estábamos contentos y nos dijeron más o menos por el gerente, que él había visto personalmente al Chef poner el pollo en nuestro Chow Mein personalmente. En lugar de seguir discutiendo, solicitamos cortésmente un intercambio y que pudieran recoger el pedido inicial como prueba, simplemente no había pollo... a lo que la respuesta del gerente fue a Go Fu? Ustedes mismos... Encantador - supongo que cualquiera puede cometer un error, pero es esta la manera de tratar a sus clientes fieles a largo plazo.

We went for my birthday last week and it was FANTASTIC!! I didn't know this place existed before and now we will be regulars, the food was exquisite, the staff were wonderful and the atmosphere was lovely. The crispy duck was a sensation, the crispy beef was melt in the mouth, the sweet and sour chicken was crispy and light and the beef short rib was simply one of the best things i've ever tasted. THANK YOU!!
