The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

Rang them 6 times starting at an hour and finishing 45 minutes before their stated close time and nobody answered, Absolute shambles.

Last night I took my 86 year old mum to Water Margin. It was very cold inside, when we were asked if all was ok my mum mentioned it was cold to which she was advised to put a coat on (!) When I said, it is inside and we shouldn't need a coat, the waitress then said- it is England in February so it will be cold! I understand we are all watching heating bills but this was uncomfortable and utterly rude. Two other customers tables heard this to which they were astounded and voiced they wont be back. Neither will we.

Not a nice experience. Ordered the chicken curry with fried rice. It didn't taste like curry whatsoever. Very dissapointed.

Absolutely disgusting ordered a meal it came called the noodles were so dry they wouldn’t come out of the container so rang back ordered again really nice on phone then it came hot but was un edible. Never ever have I had Chinese so bad will never ever order again.

2 Of our local chippies closed this evening so tried Lin Hao. I had Chicken with garlic and chilli sauce fried rice - fried rice stodgy ( possibly pre cooked and re heated ) chicken was thickly sliced, so may not have been thoroughly cooked . Partner chose chicken in oyster sauce - half boiled rice, half chips. Again, the rice seemed to have been pre cooked and warmed through, chips very much the same - far from crispy - more fatty, soggy and not fully cooked. Chicken in thick slices and sauce overly salty - won't be going back there. Too much onion in both dishes

We always order from here it is the best Chinese and best service my only complaint today was chicken was lovely n white in fried rice but very dark in chicken chow mein it is usually same as fried rice so a bit disappointing

No se recomienda este mero servicio de comida para llevar verde. Las ranuras para la recolección son una pérdida de tiempo. Esperamos 45 minutos después de nuestra hora para nuestra comida. Solo dos jóvenes, de guardia haciendo malabares cocinando, respondiendo llamadas, tomando órdenes de Just Eat y órdenes de empacar. La comida estaba fría. El dueño de este negocio debe avergonzarse del servicio más allá de lo malo. Sentí pena por los 2 jóvenes que luchan en un entorno estresante. Nunca más usaremos este servicio.

The food and swift service from here is really excellent. Not on Just Eat. We were using Just Eat and often disappointed with the chinese food we were getting but this place is the business. Sometimes have to try hard to get through on phone to order for delivery but worth it. Accepts cash and card payment now which hasn't always been the case.

Called up to place an order, was told they weren't taking any more orders at 7 pm . Asked if I could walk in to place an order, I was told no. This is the only takeaway in Hanslope. pointlessly, if you can't order any food. Ordered from my old Chinese restaurant in Heelands, no issues. Puts me off even trying next time!

After a recommendation we gave it a go. Food was lovely, really fresh ingredients, service was good and they have a 5/5 food hygiene rating. We probably won’t go anywhere else if ordering a Chinese takeaway.

Ho pernottato una settimana in questo hotel e devo dire di essermi trovato piuttosto male. Personale sempre (SEMPRE) scontroso, cibo di qualità quasi scadente (eccezion fatta per la colazione) e last but not least il puzzo di fumo che sentivo ogni volta nella camera dove stavo (io non fumo..).

Absolutely disgusting, I ordered salt n Peper chicken,bit into a piece and it was stretchy and stringy (like a kid stretching chewing gum) I thought maybe a bit a fat so tried another it was the same,tried every piece all the same,the curry sauce was far too thick that u could probably stand a spoon straight up in the pot,egg freid rice contained no egg and the rice hard,fried noodles were sticky and the crispy veg rolls were floppy never even seen crispy.will never order from here ever again and word of mouth is the best advertisement ! UTTERLY VILE !
