The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

I got the duck spring rolls, £5.80, and they were tiny, they didn't have any duck in them, and they must have been cooked from frozen, as they were not hot, That disgusting food, Shame on you,

Half the time they don't even bother to answer the phone terrible service rang and rang for over a hour foods good but customer service is the worst I've come across

This is the Best chippy for miles around. Proper fish and chip shop. Great authentic Chinese food. Worth the wait.......

Been a customer for 2 years food always good until today called up to complain about duck full of fat and bones Compo chicken was so spicy couldn’t eat Special fried rice no taste and tasted of flour Owner just kept saying what you want me to do said he didn’t care that we didn’t like it or that we been customers for 2 years I will never order again I hope I don’t get sick

Food was simply delicious. We tried the Kung Po Special, Mapo Tofu and spicy peppery chicken wings. Mapo Tofu was silky smooth and full of flavor! Service was excellent and the stafff were polite, attentive and made some recommendations. I would highly recommend Lee Gardens which offered a high quality cuisine and impeccable service!

Special curry with rice and spring rolls . Spring rolls crispy and no grease the bite was clean and soooo tasty. Curry was tasty not too hot but a kick the meat was tender not loads of onion like other places. The rice was spot on Delivery guy was friendly and on time very good service all round.

We come to Chessington a couple of times a year and always visit Lucky 5 for a takeaway. The chicken satays are the best we have tasted since visiting Singapore. The flavours of the food are truly delicious. We will always come back.

Dropped two stars because, staff ask whether you are drinking in or takeaway. Me being honest, I said drinking in and pay for the privilege, but there were a lot of people who clearly paid for a takeaway drink (who have takeaway cups) which is cheaper and sit in to have it. The staff should enforce this, or don't charge different prices to drink in and takeaway!! And FAR too many dogs inside !!

I think star moon has new owners. This is the second meal I have had and tonight there was hardly any meat in my meal. It was chopped up so small I could hardly see it and I found 1 prawn. Joke. I won't be going again

Pedido anoche para Nochevieja por teléfono a las 7 pm. La señora nos dijo que viniéramos a las 8 pm a recoger el pedido para mi familia. Llega justo antes de las 8 y eventualmente después de llamar su atención paga por el pedido y pregunta si está listo. Me dice un minuto, a las 8. 35 pm todavía estoy de pie allí, de nuevo pregunte dónde está mi comida y ella me dice, ahora estoy en una cola y será un rato. Servicio al cliente de broma, tuve que recuperar mi dinero e ir a otro lugar después de perder cerca de dos horas. NUNCA volveré a usar este agujero y debería haber sabido mejor después de una experiencia previa con su comida me dejó en un inodoro durante 24 horas.

Ordered takeaway got told it would be an hour , 2 hours later and we’re still waiting, after ringing several times we got told it was waiting for a driver and it’s on its way , yet it still didn’t turn up for 45 mins

Ordered and was told 1 hour wait , we were happy to accept this order. Food arrived and when my son poured some on his plate the oil swam out of the container before any sauce, the chicken balls were swimming in oil in the bag and the satay sauce was also topped with oil, when I called to let them know I was told ok will do better next time! I explained it was not edible and they could collect it or I would return it, I was told no refund as it’s a £60 order and we can have 10% off next time, I tried to explain what customer service was and having ordered here for over 20 years( aware it has changed hand and telephone staff) I’ve never had to complain. I also stated £6 off when £60 of food was not edible was an insult, and quite frankly do not wish to order from them again, I was told ok sorry to lose you as a customer and hung up on me. I will be returning this food on my way to my night shift and never returning, I accept busy nights things get complacent but rudeness and manners cost nothing

Great food, I always come here when I'm in Darley Dale and it never disappoints ! The lady at the front is always the friendliest and serves with a smile every time.

We were staying at Buckfast Abbey and as they weren't serving dinner we went for a takeaway. We ordered deep fried squid, special chow mein and satay king prawns. We asked for no MSG and the chef pointed out that the BBQ sauce in the Chow Mein had a little, which we were happy with. All the dishes were piping hot and really tasty with loads of meat and veg. A superb Chinese takeway in a place you wouldn't naturally expect one to be. Minus one star for only taking cash, no excuse not to take cards.

never ever use this chinese for food ,the ingredients used are not fresh are badly cooked and will make you ill , it was so bad i am going to inform trading standards how this place is allowed to take money from people is beyond me,steer well clear and pay that little extra for food you will be able to eat ,as i spent £52 pound and threw every little morsel into the bin ,the food was ransid ,without doubt the worst food i have ever had i beg people not to use
