Went on a Friday as it opened, fish okay but chips very dry as if they were reheated from lunchtime First time since lockdown so very disappointed but will give them a second chance sometime

Fabulous place and come here once a week when I finish work locally. Always good service and quality. Pleasant staff also which makes a difference.

We recently had an incredibly disappointing experience with this restaurant, one that left us deeply dissatisfied and concerned. We ordered the roast chicken with lemon and herb sauce for our family, expecting a quality meal, but unfortunately, it was far from what we hoped. The appearance of the food was off-putting, chips visibly drenched in oil and chicken smelling like rotten lemon and dogs poo rather than lemon and herbs. Upon tasting, we immediately noticed an unpleasant taste and odour, chicken was disgusting and inedible. The texture and flavour were so unappetising that we could barely manage a single bite; one family member even felt nauseous from it and nearly vomited. The chips were soggy, completely overwhelmed by excess grease, so everything went straight into the bin. Beyond the immediate disappointment, we found it impossible to get rid of the lingering smell in our home—a reminder of an experience we’d prefer to forget. This establishment used to be known for its excellent Portuguese grilled Peri Peri chicken under different ownership, but sadly, it has taken a steep downturn. We truly felt that the food quality was so poor that they should compensate customers for even trying it. This was an experience to avoid at all costs. We strongly encourage others to save their money and health and look elsewhere for standard quality food. AVOID!!!!AVOID!!!AVOID!!!

Even though we have a fish and chip shop in our village, we drive 10 minutes to Allhallows to visit Millenium. I get an OAP fish and chips as this gives me a bigger portion than some shops give for a full portion. My husband enjoys the meat kebabs. We have never had a bad meal, never been greasy or overcooked. The staff are friendly and helpful. Note: they only take cash, but there is a cash machine next door if necessary.

I put Twice that I didn’t want jalapeños or something spicy on my wrap and it was full of jalapeños and very spicy, so disappointed.

How can anyone on here say this is a bad chippy? Honestly, sometimes Trip Advisor reviews really miss the mark. This place serves AMAZING fish 'n' chips. The batter is crispy and the chips are incredible. And I say this as a Northerner, so clearly a fish n chip aficionado. If you visit Oundle, get fish 'n' chips from here, you will NOT be disappointed.

Ate at the burger van in ciren square. Friendly staff but awful food. Chicken burgers are branded to the hill as organic, homemade etc. In fact the quality was awful. I think they have tried to use chicken thighs for quality but I can honestly say mine was at least 15% gristle. AVOID!

Just popped in with my partner for fish and chips and it was beautiful. Well worth the price, great sized portions and very tasty. I had the Regular Cod and Chips and my partner had the Large Cod and Chips. Both thoroughly enjoyed. Highly Recommend :-)

Good value for a quick bite, food cooked was very tasty, and filling comes in 3 options small noodle/rice with 1 choice chicken, medium 2 choice chicken, large 3 choice chicken. Their is a good selection of chicken my partner enjoyed large with BBQ- Chicken absolutely loved it and was a big enough portion for lunch. My teenage son liked the garlic large but was too much for him and brought home to finish it, I preferred caramel sweet and tasty. Reasonable price very good portion size hygiene rating was 5 we went back a different day same quality. Has some sitting area and toilets. Staff is very polite and friendly
