The best restaurants serving Fast food food in England

So. Had fish and chips and mushy peas. Fish was absolutely beautiful. The mushy peas were OK but not sure I'd bother again. Defo be going for the fish and chips though

Ordered lightly battered fish with chips n peas. This was the most disappointing takeaway I've ordered .The fish was the size of half a slice of bread and same thickness....(regular fish unbatterd is usually 6oz but Castle fisheries are 4oz ? 33%smaller ?. Mushy peas were forgotten about had to remind the staff who put a small pot in the microwave to heat up this was on a Saturday afternoon...I was the only customer in the shop ....very poor food and service.

This is without a doubt the best chippy in the Furness area! Beautiful food & Beautiful staff & owners!

Prices are ok. Staff aren't particularly friendly. Sometimes the pizza is great; sometimes it's ok. The kebabs are good. It's "fine". I have no problem going here but it's not without fault.

Chicken raw when cut into. Chicken dangeroursly undercooked. The shop wasn't even busy. This chip shop is not what it used to be.

Ordered large cod and chips. Batter was soggy, chips were probably kept warm since lunchtime. The sort of meal I would expect to be served to drunks late at night walking home

Despite a very busy shop at 5.15pm on a Friday, I walked into a warm friendly atmosphere and was asked for my order within minutes. Staff member was polite, friendly and efficient making sure she had heard my order correctly. There was a ten to fifteen minute wait as the food is cooked to order. Whilst waiting, another staff member asked if everyone waiting had been served and then chatted to all the waiting customers. My order was boxed up beautifully and had a friendly goodbye when I left. The traditional haddock meal was delicious. Batter very light and crispy. Fish thick and meaty. Chips crisp and not greasy in any way. Mushy peas of course! Repeat customer in the making! Chips aren’t always fresh and they’re sometimes a bit dry, burgers and kebabs are absolutely amazing tho. Tables are sometimes a bit dirty and greasy The workers are really nice and welcoming and social-able. Would be a 5star but the chips aren’t always fresh which is a bit annoying, the chips are either great or terrible. I’ve ordered from here loads of times and sometimes the chips have tasted really fresh and tasty and other times they’ve tasted really dry

Stopped by for a regular lunchtime bite special, and it was spot on! The fish was really good quality and cooked perfectly, with a nice generous portion. The curry sauce was good too – proper delicious! Definitely worth a visit.

The chicken was very delicious, and the staff was friendly. The prices were reasonable. I highly recommend them.
