The best restaurants serving Indian food in Cambridge East of England

Great place with all delicious vegetarian and vegan foods. I highly recommend vegetable biryani and masala fries to everyone.

It was 10 pm and none of the restaurants around took me in, but they did and served me one of the best Indian food I had in life.

Me gusta Hyderabadi Biryani especial fue increíble que nunca había tenido este tipo de biryani antes en el Reino Unido, tenía tantos lugares, pero esto fue increíble. Tuve pollo Rogan josh, langostino rey Tandoori, chuletas de cordero shashlik y naan simple, así como todos son muy sabrosos. Doy 10 / 10. Gracias

Second visit to this restaurant and food was excellent once again. In our opinion the best Indian/Bangladeshi food in the area.

Today I tried the Chicken Tikka Biryani from Royal Spice Restaurant, and I must say it was an absolute delight. The rich aroma and the perfectly balanced spices made it a truly flavorful experience. The rice was cooked to perfection, and the chicken was tender and succulent.Royal Spice definitely knows how to make an outstanding Biryani.And Lamb curry 👌 garlic naan very soft

Styled as a fine dining experience this restaurant truly lived up to its billing.We went for the 7 course tasting menu with the Malai chicken and the panna cotta particular highlights.Highly recommended.

We haven't been to Tawa for a couple of years - thought it would be nice to go out for an off the cuff meal, just the two of us. First off - the food, as before, was really good and definitely a step above the norm for an Indian restaurant. However, the service while friendly was appalling - no initial service for drinks so when they did finally come we ordered drinks and meal at the same time. Starters brought out within a sensible time - but then the mains were brought out while we were still eating the starters! Ruined what was intended as a leisurely romantic meal for 2. We were in and out within an hour, despite having to wait 15 mins to order anything.

This has happened in February 2024 and also now in May 2024. Exactly same result after having samosa Chat. It is definitely tasty but after a few hours it affects the body somehow. 4 family members were affected either tummy ache or Indigestion. Please take it as a constructive criticism and make sure the ingredients are upto the quality.

The flavours were nice but my main course was cold. The food was served very quickly so does it mean not cooked fresh..yes I think so. For an Indian, it was an expensive experience.

One of the best, clean and the resto foods are halal.

Had a lovely stay at the Clayton hotel, Very clean, good location and very helpful staff, Marta on reception deserves extra praise, so helpful, Also Marta B in restaurant so helpful and jolly. Will definitely stay again next time we visit Cambridge.

This charming restaurant offers authentic South Indian cuisine that is both simple and exquisite. If I could give it a 10-star rating, it would still feel like too little.
