Best Indian I’ve EVER had!! 500000/5 stars! I have come all the way from America and will be making this journey weekly if I have to! My husband loves the Bhuna and Madras curries, and I had the Lamb Explosion- if you like spice that dish is for you! Beyond the incredible food, the staff are so kind - if we could get them to sit and dine with us, we would!

Amazing food and service. Atmosphere here is also 10/10 great traditional decor and seating area. Only place I have been that does full traditional Bengali food Staff where very friendly would definitely recommended and will visit again for sure

We ordered a takeaway from the here last night, Fri 12th Oct 2018 - it was the best ever!! The phone was answered promptly and very politely.I love lamb but VERY rarely have it as a curry...our friends 'highly' recommended this restaurant and I understand why now!!!I had lamb sag and my partner lamb madras - both absolutely gorgeous and tender.The whole order was excellent!!!My partner picked the ordered up, no wait involved, price as per the menu and we could pay by contactless.Nice touches - the carry bag said Thank You' on...perhaps these days once this stock has ran out the restaurant should think of going to paper bags??And the bar of chocolate inside was a lovely surprise - that was tasty too!!EXCELLENT in every way!!!

Been eating here for years and it has never failed us! Both my parents went vegan a few years ago and my mum was especially disappointed to miss out on so much Indian food, so she was over the moon to discover a place with amazing Indian food and tons of vegan options. Service is always fantastic and you just can’t go wrong with anything you order. We’re looking forward to eating here for many years to come.

Their food was a little bit salty but still tasty. I have high blood pressure so may be I am too sensitive to salt but we had good dinner experience overall..

Never disappointed with the food here. Always fresh and cooked perfectly, love the fresh side salads and onions that come with the Tikka / Sheek kebab starters. Great range of mains and veg side dishes, particularly like the saag aloo and Brinjal Bhaji. Was worried when they moved premises a few years ago, but the food is still excellent. Always collect but did get delivery a few years back during covid times, the food always arrived piping hot.

My regular very lucky to have on doorstep, food and service amazing and offer you something different from regular Indian restaurant.

We had a lovely meal at Amrit just before Christmas 2024. We were a big group and everyone said that their meal was delicious. There was a great atmosphere, and the staff could not have been better or friendlier. Thank you!

Visited 1971 for a family meal last week. First of all when you walk into the restaurant my reaction was WOW it is beautifully decorated and just has a real wow factor as a restaurant. The staff are just so friendly and attentive and then comes the food and again another WOW, honestly it was just such beautiful food even my 5 years was scraping her plate. Cannot wait to return to 1971 you are doing amazing guys. Will be telling all my friends about you. Lisa

Enjoyed a superb take away from Cherry Trees yesterday. I have always enjoyed the food here but this was first class. If you want fresh tasting food, carefully prepared and presented, off an interesting menu, then look no further than the friendly people at Cherry Trees. They are on the top of their game at the moment.

Nice, quick, lunch. £5 lunches on offer Monday to Thursday. Limited menu choice, but imcludes weaps. Good, qick, service. Ordering ahead possible.

This was our first visit to Nouvelle Lounge at The Quadrant and we were really surprised. The restaurant was very busy and the atmosphere was vibrant. We were welcomed and taken to our table very promptly. Drinks arrived soon after and our food order was taken by friendly, knowledgeable staff who were able to answer all our questions. We didn't have to wait too long for our delicious food, the mains arriving with a theatrical flourish of dry ice. Over all we had a lovely evening. This place is a great asset to this area.

Best Indian Restaurant in St Albans for me. I love cleanliness, friendly attentive service. Their food is very well seasoned. I recommend this restaurant 👌🏻
