This really should be a Very Good classification. But for two reasons I have downgraded. Firstly as a solo visitor, they automatically added a service charge, why? It's a personal gripe. Secondly I thought it was a bit pricey (although it is London).The place itself is nice inside.The main course I had (Gosht A La Nilgiri), was very tasty. Not too hot ( as described) but nicely spiced with tender chunks of lamb. The Keema Nan was also fine.

Vino con una fiesta de 10 por un cumpleaños. La comida era preciosa y hay una buena variedad en el menú! El camarero era muy atento y todo el mundo era amable y el restaurante tenía un ambiente muy tranquilo, encantador. Increíblemente impresionado y fue fácil caminar de vuelta a Waterloo después. Party booking, food was ok. Starters dressed nicely but mains did not live up to the promise set by the first course. Phasing of the rice and mains was all wrong so you either had not enough rice or not enough curry. Bread made the rounds and tasted good but there should be more than enough rice. Sorbet never made it to me. Staff kept on pushing the drinks upsell.

One our favourite and classic informal Indian restaurants in London. We came as close as we could before the enforced closure. The guy on the door said there was powerful optimism that a proposal to recreate the business, its styles and flavours could be relocated and to keep an eye out. A month on and we’ve heard nothing specific yet.

had idly Vada, Idly didn't feel or taste like idli, it is not soft, and it is not value for money, and charge £2.50 for a bottle of water, disappointed

We chose Sagar because it was near theatre and veggie. The service was very poor and we had to ask twice for water and three times for the bill even after saying we needed to leave to go to the theatre. The onion bajis were far more batter than onion and tasted bland. Our main meal items were good but we were given cold plates. Sagar seems to be resting on its reputation and needs to improve service and food to keep us coming back.

Fanstastic little family run place. Food and service was first class at very reasonable prices anywhere let alone London. Well worth a visit

Tried to find it. Call it. Google maps it. Ask neighbors about it. But not existing anymore. What a shame

It was not very very good, but good. It should be more spacious. Food quality and price was quite comfortable.
