Caro y de dudosa calidad, por no hablar de las cantidades reducidas, el lugar ha ido verdaderamente cuesta abajo. Mejor evitar este lugar - hay un montón de otras comidas para llevar en Sutton!

I ate here for the first time recently and the food was really nice, however a bit rich for my personal liking. The staff were friendly. It’s a same they don’t sell alcohol, (however you can bring your own).

Placed an order for delivery , an hour and a half later I rang and was told it would be 10-15 mins . I asked if that was true we would but if it’s longer we will turn delivery away . I was told abruptly they don’t know so cancel the order . Very poor customer relation skill , regardless I would never place an order with them again .

The worst curry we have had there. No licence. Plastic place mats, cheap paper napkins. Curry was like a soup with prawns swimming in it chicken hard. Smelt damp service rubbish. Don't waste your money.

tasty, spicy and very good value

food is very average, the seekh kebab with mint yoghurt tasted very odd, and its not very spicy, all the dishes ive got taste pretty much the same e.g. the chicken madras and jalfrezi just watery curry no spice to it. would avoid

Local place to enjoy your family meals together or to order takeaway

This takeaway used to be, by far, the best Indian food in the area. Better than the best rated restaurant. Something changed between May and August 21. Unfortunately, the food is now very poor, old fashioned Indian and everything is spicy hot. In August we had a pasanda that was too hot for my partner to eat and a very hot prawn puri. Trying it again this week (hoping it was a one - off) it was worse. Examples. The chilli paneer used to be hot (I like it reasonably hot), with soft, white paneer in a very light, almost non-existent sauce, with trimmings. Now it is overcooked paneer in just a thick, brown sauce. Prawn puri was previously mild and light with thin, light puri. Now it it is a thick, brown, hot sauce on a thick, brown, tough bread, which I couldn't eat. We gave the place a second chance, because anyone can have an off day. It's a shame, because it really was a brilliant takeaway before.

I recently moved to the area and have heard great reviews about Mohini (assuming the new name for this Balti house). The food came super quickly, hot and... was the best curry I have had in years. At such a reasonable price also. Very flavoursome, not oily, great portions and just very very tasty. I will be coming back!!

Have not been here in a while as had a bad meal some time ago. Decided to give it a try again and wow I'm glad i did. 4 of us went and everyone loved their food. My mixed grill was especially delicious. Service was great very friendly wait staff and customised an item for my friend as after it arrived was too hot. Nothing was too much trouble and prices are reasonable. Will definitely be back again.

En una zona con una gran cantidad de restaurantes indios, nuestra familia lo clasifica como uno de los mejores. Tuvimos una cena familiar con familiares australianos y fue magnífico. La comida era maravillosa, el servicio amable y eran tan generosos con nosotros. Conseguimos una guarnición vegetal gratis y un plato de patatas fritas también se sacó gratis para los niños en la fiesta. El langostino frío dulce era fantástico. Uno de los niños desplazó accidentalmente una pintura mural, pero el personal la tomó con calma y no hizo alboroto. Hemos probado varios otros buenos restaurantes indios en la localidad, pero siempre volvemos al Star para eventos familiares
