First time ordering from here. I originally asked for recommendations on FB and here was suggested multiple times. We ordered a chicken korma, chicken tikka masala, mixed madras and a chicken chat. We did have to call back as one item was not delivered but they quickly sorted this and delivered for us. Food was really nice, bread were lovely and fresh. Our order was just under £50 which I thought was great for 4 ppl

Breaks my heart to write such a bad review! My partner and I have been coming to this restaurant for almost 18 years, when we lived local to it and it was always amazing the manager back then was fantastic and the food was gorgeous too, we have been back to the restaurant many times since moving away from the area - mainly with friends & family (7-10 of us) 7 of us went this evening and I am so disappointed ☹️ A large coke is £5 each, I know establishments need to make their money but £5 is extortionate! My friend ordered a fish dish, which she does every time we go and she enjoys it. Tonight it was like mush and full of water, clearly frozen! It really wasn’t good! The staff did replace it with another meal of her choice. 2 of our party had massalla when it came the sauce was like water, it was overly sweet and smelt sour. It wasn’t eaten and we did tell the staff but they didn’t seem interested. (We were still charged for it too) We ordered a childrens portion of chicken nuggets & chips, for the smallest child with us (age 6) when the bill came they had charged £9 for it!!! Which is the price shown on the main adult menu. When we questioned it the waiter went to ask the manager about the query. He came back and said that the childs price of £9 is correct as its the same size as the adults?!? The manager was quite rude to us on the way out stating that there was nothing wrong with the massalla and apparently that was how it was supposed to be! And also that we had miss calculated the bill and owed them 36p We paid this and left, very disappointed and one of the party still hungry as they didn’t eat their massalla! Sorry to say this will be the last time we visit voijon

Went Sunday 20th October around 6pm. The restaurant was very busy but they found a booth table for us immediately. Started with poppadoms and sauces. Mains arrived about half hour later and were excellent. Chicken Tikka Pathia was a highlight. Booked for Xmas Eve. Looking forward to it!

[FOOD POISONING] We are loyal frequent customers of this establishment for 10+ years and I have to say the last two times have been appalling! They have given multiple family members food poisoning on separate occasions, not once but twice!!! The chicken tasted in particular funky long with the other meats of choice including the prawns. This seems irrelevant as the food is always the most important aspect of any dining experience but the service was also very slow as we were made to wait 25 minutes over schedule. To conclude this review it leaves me feeling very disappointed as I said before we have used the Bay Leaf for years and it always lived up to expectations but now we won’t be using again for our own health and wellbeing.

Nice selection of food on the buffet, options for halal, vegan & gluten free. A busy place so make sure you are on time. It has parking however not a big car park. We parked in the Asda across the road. Service was ok however the table was not set correctly and our party had to move around to accommodate the restaurant hence the 3 stars for service. Overall a good place and prices are reasonable compared to others

I had my wedding here and I’m so happy with how amazing the day went from venue to service everything was on schedule. Myself and my guests are so happy with how lovely the day went.

Ordered takeaway. The staff are not rude but despite us being regulars, they are not friendly. The chutney that came with our poppadum was disappointing- watered down mango, thin yogurt with no discernible mint and chopped onion. That was it! We had onion bhajis that were limp and soft- looked as though they had been cooked in fat not quite hot enough. Our chicken dish was ok but far too much oil and not hot… the chapatis were sadly inedible as they tasted mouldy in the middle. Nana bread was nice. Overall a huge disappointment. We have been to the restaurant regularly and sadly have noticed a gradual decline in quality - won’t be going back.

Firstly it took 3 hours for them to deliver my food. It was cold and was the wrong order. The restaurant refused to bring me the right food. Never again.
