The best restaurants serving Indian food in Stockport North West

I went here for our Christmas do / my leaving do it was really nice. The food was lovely, really enjoyed my vegetarian platter and main meal prawn biryianne. The atmosphere was really cosy and staff were very friendly .

First time on the lunch time menu and was'nt disappointed, lovely smaller portions with lots of choice, all very tasty, what i like is, good choice for vegggies and food not swimming in gee, also the owner very eager and passionate to share food idea's and choice with us, highly recommend.

Visited here at my sister's recommendation. This has to be the best food I have had outside of India, to the point of bringing back so many good memories that I began to cry which set the owner off too, LOL! Anyway I can honestly say it was fantastic, lovely atmosphere and the staff are fantastic. You will not be disappointed I can assure you.

It has been consistently been voted within top 100 local restaurants in the UK. We come here regularly over many years and always have a wonderful meal here. Food is freshly prepared and full of authentic flavour, very different from the standard "British Indian" restaurants.

Friendly staff and tasty food from a varied menu. The cheese naan was lovely! Great wine and drinks menu too. It was our first time here and we will be coming back for sure

They was 20 minutes late, the food is stone cold and they forgot my milkshake. Not happy one bit.

Butter Chicken was amazing. AS was the rest of the food.I am visiting from Canadá, come back twice before i go - its tha good.

Updating my review to be more specific, this restaurant is excellent. Each dish is so full of flavour and the staff are wonderful. We really love the aubergine and peanut curry, favourite dish is the potato and chickpea starter 👌

Visited twice in a week, once with my sister then again with a mate. Small venue, smartly decorated and really clean. Good varied menu with some street food and a few unusual fusion dishes. The choice of Starters was really good, I would definitely recommend the tandoori salmon. The curries come in small portions but were incredibly tasty, same with the Naan breads. Overall fantastic experience all round, well worth 5 stars.

Ordered 2 special mix kebabs on naan. Always very good, but tonight's was the best yet. So fresh, tasty and hot. Salad and sauces spot on too. Nice to have a catch up with our friendly delivery guy too. Keep up the good work 👍

What a RIP OFF. We ordered on line for a delivery service. They accepted the order and took our money ( £40.00 ) but the delivery never arrived. When it was late we rang and was told it would be with us shortly. After an hour after it was promised we rang again and was told that there was a problem with their driver and couldn.t deliver. They said that they could make it then if we came to collect it ( so it hadn't been made at this point ). We couldn't collect so told them not to bother. Over a week later we had not had a refund and they told us they wouldn't refund us as we cancelled.

Me and my family went for meal new years eve to this restaurant, the food was amazing the staff were lovely could not ask for a better night , highly recommed

The smell of this place is divine and is very promising of the food to come. The food is flavourful, the portions are generous and the staff are lovely and polite. Absolute favourite!

I ordered a delivery which is normally quite nice. However I included a starter of Garlic Chicken. What arrived was 6 small chunks of bland chicken Definitely not like the photo or description as on the menu. Disappointed with this starter
