I had never been to this place before and only stumbled across it due to them giving away furniture. So I messaged the ad on Facebook and asked if what I was after was still available and was told to go down between 9am and 12pm. Which I did. I got there for 9am. The manager/owner wasn't in yet and after the staff called him, I was told he would be there in 5 minutes. The staff were lovely and offered me a drink while I was waiting. After half an hour and a few phone calls from the staff, he finally arrives. I explained again what I was there for and was actually laughed at. After a bit of discussion, he told me to take the chair and pointed to one next to a main eating his breakfast (I'm so sorry if that man is reading this). The whole cafe was looking at me at this point. I was then left to try and get the chair through the doors without help. Honestly, one of the most embarrassing moments of my life. I was made to feel so small just from responding to a Facebook ad... I can honestly say I will never be returning to this place to put money in that man's pocket. Such a rude person! If I hadn't been made to wait half an hour I think I would have just walked out without the chair. If the manager/owner reads this. Maybe make it clear what your ad is advertising and try being on time when you give a time to someone else. Your manners could do with improving too!

I ordered food for collection, and although it was ready in 25 minutes, it was mid at best. The pakoras (4) were soggy and unimpressive by the time they got home. The chicken tikka biryani was also a little disappointing. The rice had almost no flavour. The chicken was tasty but there wasn’t much of it. The vegetable curry was okay, but still uninspired. Overall the biryani was lacking in flavour and underwhelming. I’m a little disappointed, I’ll probably go elsewhere for an Indian takeaway next time.

I ordered a meal from here based on favourable TA reviews. I suspect none of the reviewers had the misfortune to sample the lamb dishes. The order arrived promptly, and the flavoured rice, curry sauce and veg were good but the meat was another story. The lamb was 40% gristle and connective material and all of the " meat " was so tough it could only be cut with a steak knife. When inspected it was grey in colour, clearly it had been pre and overly cooked some time in advance, and reheated in the sauce. All went in the bin a total waist of money. I haven't bothered to complain to the restaurant as this dish did not happen by accident, but as a result of poor ingredients and cooking practices. Maybe the chicken would of been a better choice, I shall never know. You only have one chance to making a first impression and the Little Indian Restaurant certainly achieved that.
