The best restaurants serving Indian food in West Midlands

We celebrated my husband's 60th with family. Food was incredible. Service was excellent. Can't wait to go back.

The curry dishes we had were quite nice, standard, not amazing. We had 2 types of naan, the peshwari naan was far too sweet. We felt a bit rushed by the staff, unnecessary as the place was half empty. Still eating when we were asked if we were done. Reasonable overall but nothing special.

Always used the Spice Empire, been using them since we moved into Cleobury in 2021, and over the last 23 years we have probably eaten with them at least every fortnight wether it is in the restaurant or as a takeaway. I can honestly say I’ve never experienced a bad meal, and on the very odd occasion that something maybe be missing or incorrect it had been dealt with, with no quibble at all. The staff are fabulous and fun when you get to know them. Highly recommend it. Julia and the Perkins family.

Viernes 13 no es el mejor de los días, pero un buen día para ir al mejor restaurante indio local. A medida que se acerca a la Navidad muchas razones para estallar y celebrar, ya sea en familia o una fiesta de trabajo, el Rajasthan es una muy buena opción, siempre popular por lo que se aconseja reservar. Recomendaría el Lababdar como algo a probar si se busca un cambio. La comida siempre es buena, el personal es genial y encantado de ayudar o aconsejar. Bien vale la pena una visita durante la Navidad, pero reserve temprano para no decepcionarse.

Outstanding chicken achari and prawn passanda here at good prices. They even threw in free rice for us on our takeaway. We very much enjoyed it here.

We are longstanding customers of Bharat and The Lion before it and visited recently with friends, it was the first time since Raj left. Unfortunately the food was disappointing and so was the service. Gone are the friendly staff; one of the waiters didn’t even understand us let alone chat to us. Barat was always a treat because it was a bit on the pricey side but it was always very good. We probably won’t go back now after 25+ years.

Had a amazing experience trying out new foods. The food is really amazing. The staff was really polite. One of my favorite resturants to visit.

Have been to this restaurant many times and I’ve never had a bad meal. Food was fantastic, service was great and staff were very friendly. The host is a total gentleman as usual and makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door.

I had not been to my regular Indian/Bangladeshi for a long time due to Covid. I tried their take away tonight. Very nice prawn puri starter and lamb tikka main + excellent sag aloo. Old reliable.
