Rice and bhajis were fine, but the chicken tikka masala was absolutely tasteless! Terrible curry’s just wouldn’t recommend, when I phoned they said they wanted me to send it back already plated up? Just weren’t willing to do anything about it, Would not recommend, Not worth the money, tastes vile

Family of four visit with two older teens for my sons 17th birthday. Went to the Sunday buffet on Sunday 29th September 2024 at 6pm. Had booked a table and given details of sons birthday... there was no confirmation sent to email or text message to confirm.Aargrah used to be a quality place to eat 10 years ago...which was why we decided to give it a go. The Sunday buffet was £15.95- summer special. Limited choice of food- many of the tureens for starters were quite empty. The kebabs were dry and overcooked, the vegetable pakoras were cold. There were no chips available in the tureen. the rice tureen was quite empty. The positive was the Naan breads were cooked fresh and could be ordered.. It seemed short staffed... While they asked how the food was as a courtesy, I didn't give a positive reply, but they didn't follow up. We paid the bill and left. We definately won't go back and certainly wouldn't recommend this place to friends, family or even enemies. Aargrah in Wakefield doesn't live up to the reputation it once had...in my opinion.

Delicious food - very good quality ingredients (big juicy chunks of chicken tikka etc) decent sized portions. Staff always polite and welcoming.

Read reviews before ordering. Unfortunately I didn’t. Food arrived late. Phone number on just eat said unrecognisable so couldn’t contact the restaurant for an update. Food arrived cold and I had to warm it in the microwave (not a good start) and the restaurant is only a 1 minute driving distance so shouldn’t be an issue (see picture) Ordered creamy masala but what arrived didn’t look creamy and was swimming in oil. Even a good stir under heat didn’t resolve this. (Pictured) Chips looked and tasted as though they’d been refried. Garlic naan and onion bhajis were nice once warmed and my child said the wrap and cheesy chips were ok though. Would I order or dine in again ? Unfortunately not.
