The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

Made a reservation online only to find the restaurant closed, very poor that no one from the yukti tried to contact us. Always enjoyed coming to this restaurant, notice outside saying closed for renovation , also their restaurant in city centre is also closed. Still it's only decency to pick up a phone and let customers know what's going on.

Excellent. I got the tasting menu and the food was amazing. It all came at the correct time and didn’t leave us waiting any longer than we wanted to. Wow.

When we entered the restaurant the guests were predominantly white (about 95%) and immediately this set alarm bells ringing as evidently Asian/Indian clientele do not rate their own type of food in this establishment to attend in great number (compared to a competitor restaurant about a mile away, Tipu Sultan, which we visit regularly). We visited for my birthday as a special occasion. Food lacked spice and flavour throughout. Extremely disappointed when this restaurant is meant to come with such high credentials and ratings. Your parent company being Mem Saab would suggest this should be a high quality restaurant i did not wish to make a scene at the time and complain, but this was a joke of a restaurant and we will definitely not be revisiting.

13 of us ate there on Christmas Eve . All round excellent. They are very customer service oriented.

Had a takeaway and while it tasted OK at first by halfway through the salt was far too excessive. I spent the night drinking water to try and flush it out. Not again I am afraid.

Extraño soso llamado tandoori. No hay olor a cocinar en el restaurante. No hay razón para una propina añadida. No habría dado propina ya que no se ganó. Si es la primera vez que tienes indio, puedes ser engañado para que finja que es bueno. Hasta que hayas tenido un indio medio decente. Es un poco triste ya que esta es literalmente la primera vez que he comido comida india aburrida. No es broma no ser grosero ser totalmente honesto. Esta fue la comida india más aburrida que he probado.

Disappointing Anniversary Meal – Would Not Recommend We decided to order from this establishment for our anniversary celebration last night at 8:00 PM, hoping for a memorable meal. Unfortunately, our experience was anything but enjoyable. We ordered the Korma King Prawn, Buhna King Prawn, Peshwari Naan, Chilli Naan, and Sag Aloo. Given the positive feedback from friends and my partner’s previous visit over a year ago, we had high expectations. However, the food fell far short. The King Prawns were unappetizing—mangled, reconstituted, and completely flavorless. The Korma sauce was watery and lacked any depth of flavor, while the Buhna King Prawns tasted oily and artificial. The Peshwari Naan was dry and powdery with no discernible sweetness or flavor. The accompanying dips were equally disappointing. The mango chutney tasted like warm, puréed syrup, while the white and red onion pickles were just plain chopped onions, completely unseasoned and lacking freshness. The yogurt dip was watery, bland, and unappealing. To make matters worse, both my partner and I experienced severe gastrointestinal distress after eating what little we could stomach from the meal. I attempted to contact the restaurant by phone to raise these concerns, but no one answered. Overall, this was an incredibly disappointing experience, and I cannot recommend this establishment to others.

Vadah is an exceptional dining spot that truly stands out with its fantastic food and stunning riverside views.. The peshwari naan was the best I’ve ever had, perfectly complementing the rich, aromatic chicken tikka masala. The staff were incredible attentive, It was a perfect place to celebrate a special occasion with my family. Will definitely visit again…

Not very authentic Thai food, very noisy and not good value for the money.

Excellent restaraunt with professional staff. Food was amazing and if you are ever visiting Leceister i recommend you stop by.
