Honestly you pay too much for what you eat ! Watery and untested pasta dishes, not recommended you waste your money! Overcrowded and unpleasant stay!

My daughter has just been to this venue for her birthday for a bottomless brunch, they had to pay upfront and have been served only two drinks in an hour!! Then had the cheek to try charge them £70 service charge. Clearly the staff have seen a young group of girls as an easy target for money. Disgusting

Whilst staying at a hotel in Shaftesbury Avenue we took a short walk to the restaurant for our evening meal. As a disabled visitor I was treated with respect and fully supported by the staff. All staff were professional and courteous. The whole meal…starter, mains, drinks etc were of a high standard and incredibly tasty. An excellent value for money meal and experience. I’d certainly recommend a visit.

Ho cenato in questo posto durante il mio viaggio a Londra con la mia amica celiaca. La cucina italiana e gluten free non ha deluso le aspettative della clientela italiana. Abbiamo preso dei piatti di pasta fresca, ed era assolutamente tutto squisito. After initial confusion both on the website and on the phone as to whether Giovanni’s was open for lunch, or dinner, or indeed open at all, I succeeded in booking a birthday lunch for two. Arriving first, through a door quite literally hidden away from the busiest streets in London, I ordered a glass of champagne. I would not be having that, my host Count Ragona informed me, his is an Italian restaurant and I would drink Prosecco. And Prosecco I drank. I also shared an excellent Sicilian red, and a couple of grappas, it was a birthday after all. We ate swordfish ceviche and pasta casa nostra - actually carbonara but called such he told us to stop certain nations asking for it with cream. With two coffees and a cocktail the bill came to less than £400 but the entertainment was worth that alone. Evidence that everyone eats at Giovanni’s abounds, signed photos cover every inch of the walls. I was seated before two astronauts and all the members of Queen. And although her signed photo was missing, the other Queen, Her Late Majesty had also dined at Giovanni’s four times, and dear Diana had also been a friend. Indeed it is hard to imagine who might not be a friend of Count Ragona’s such is his vivacity. Food quality was really good and our order was processed quite quickly. Disappointed to find extra items on our bill when paying, really left a sour taste. Check your bill before paying!

El servicio fue pésimo, peor imposible. Fui con mi familia, la comida no hay como describirla grasienta, de supermercado, el menú infantil, me lo cobraron y solo le trajeron al menor un plato, cuando deberian traer 3 y aun por encima no cobrarlo porque tienen una oferta y lo peor a la hora de pagar me cobraron la propina 2 veces. En resumidas cuentas nada recomendable, pésimo en trato y calidad y aún por encima caro, muy caro para lo que sirven. Id a cualquier sitio menos aquí Es local de Paddington Ahhhh!!!! Se me olvidaba y la limpieza, inexistente, vimos como limpiaban y no limpiaban...

Reservamos una mesa en línea antes de llegar a Londres, llegamos al restaurante unos 40 minutos antes, pero dijeron que no era un problema. Nos mostraron a nuestra mesa por un miembro del personal muy acogedor y amable que poco después tomó nuestras bebidas y comida. Poco después de que nuestras comidas aparecieron y eran geniales los niños pizza era masiva si hubiéramos sabido que eran tan grandes que solo habríamos pedido 1 para compartir. Nuestras comidas también vale la pena una visita

Mi única cucharada de helado fue pesada minuciosamente en balanzas detrás del mostrador antes de que me lo sirvieran. Gran sabor y calidad en este lugar, pero esto chupó todo el disfrute de mi experiencia y la relación calidad-precio, esto no es! ¡Qué decepcionante!

En primer lugar, por desgracia cuando llegamos el restaurante olía a vómito. Apreciamos que no es su culpa, pero definitivamente no ayudó a nuestra experiencia. Pedimos aproximadamente 3 platos cada uno (había 2 adultos y un niño de 10 años). Nuestro hijo no tiene el mejor apetito y el restaurante no sirve para niños. Esto fue culpa nuestra, deberíamos haberlo comprobado. La comida estaba bien. Nada especial especialmente por el precio. También tuvimos una gran brecha entre el primer lote de comida que viene y el segundo lote. El personal era amable, pero no el más atento, ya que nadie preguntó si necesitábamos otra bebida.

The service was really bad, waiting 20 mins for a margarita to only find out they didn’t have the ingredients to make it, pre made an reservation to only be sat at a seat I front of the kitchen door. There really bad communication within the staff also got the wrong drink brought to me. The starter was nothing spectacular And the main lacked seasoning. Very bland. A disappointing experience for a mid week visit to a restaurant.

Five of us called in while in London nearby for a business lunch. Very different as you have to do down into an underground area. The decor is modern but with an industrial/classic feel. I am not a fan of pizza but we all ordered pizza as recommended by one of our group and I am glad we did as it was very good - as far as pizza goes. The atmosphere was great and the service was excellent. Highly recommend for somewhere interesting and quirky. The only down side was it was a bit pricey but I suppose we were in London!
