The best restaurants serving Italian food in Joiner's Square Stoke-on-Trent West Midlands

This place is SPECIAL! I have eaten in hundreds of places and loads of Italians… even in Italy… so I like to think I know what is authentic and really good food and drink. Robertos is worth travelling from london for, just for a meal! Not even joking. Superior place. Homecooked, first class cuisine and fabulous service from staff who really care. Great prices and a beautiful vibe and atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back and visit!

Lovely authentic Italian restaurant with lovely food and great customer service.

I have not eaten at this restaurant. I have been reading the reviews of restaurants near the Regent Theatre. I have been reading the reviews of this place. The 1 star reviews are very distressing. I noticed a theme of suspected microwaved heating, poor atmosphere, and seating and especially staff attitude. Even the replies to the reviews blame the customer. I'm 77 and eaten at a very large number of restaurants. Everything from Wimpy, remember them, to 2 star Michalen. I have never heard of such disregard for customers. I am going to the theatre across the road and having a meal after the performance. I am not going to this place. This restaurant needs to change the management or close down.

I've been here plenty of times before with work, beautiful food, lovely gentleman who prided the establishment for customer care. So I brought my husband here telling him how wonderful it was going to be. What happened?? We were pointed to a table, not seated. No water brought to the table. No coats hung for us. No welcome. No discussing the menu choices ... The steak was amazing but tiny, the roast veg I had wasn't pleasant. After the meal my husband who doesn't eat dessert said he was going to have to have dessert as he was still hungry. But alas we were not offered coffee or dessert, the plates were removed and no one came to us. Eventually we gave it up as a bad job and called to an all night supermarket for snacks. A really lack lustre evening, £27 for a steak and left feeling hungry, customer service? .... well I just felt we had interrupted someone's quiet night.

Brilliant evening with friends and Derek was an absolute star! We were seated immediately on our arrival and our drinks order was taken quickly and arrived quickly. The food came at a suitable speed and everything we had was excellent. However the best part of the evening was Derek who looked after us brilliantly. So we will definitely go back! Thank you Derek.

The staff here are just so lovely! People really shouldn't be rude to them!
