The best restaurants serving Italian food in Castle Scarborough Yorkshire and The Humber

We have been here a number of times now. Great coffee, fabulous cannoli, gorgeous authentic Italian lunchtime treats. Friendly staff and owners. Wonderful Italian café, the gelato looks fantastic too with many great flavours to choose from. Would highly recommend. Wonderful find.

We have just had the worst experience at this restaurant. My husband took me out for a special meal, when the bill arrived, we had been charged for a bottle of Prosecco, which we did not have. Instead of the waitress recognising her mistake, she became angry and rude. We left the restaurant having to pay for the £10 bottle we had not had, feeling ripped off and determined not to return. Looking at the reviews, it seems this same waitress/ owner refutes any negative review with her own damning comments, so unprofessional. Avoid this place at all costs.

Visited this nice looking cafe for a spot of breakfast with my Partner as we thought it was nice looking. I will keep this short and sweet,the lady serving us from extremely rude and unprofessional and at one point told some customers to go outside as she brought there order out and then proceeded to gossip/slag them off to her “mates/friends/locals” in full view of other customers! Avoid this place at all costs as this lady should not be working in a customer service environment and the person who has employed her should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves!!!

Unpretentious decor but food was amazing. Nothing a problem with the waiters and had a thoroughly fantastic time. Would highly recommend

Absolutely loved eating here and the atmosphere is amazing

Amazing italian food, months later we're still thinking about it. The food is greater than the sum of its parts, which is the sign of a great italian chef. All the dishes we tried deserve a mention but in the interests of brevity the ragu which my partner ordered was a surprising delight, so much so we've ordered their book (fingers crossed the recipe is in there). Plus a great wine list and a selection of amaro to top it off. Sorry its taken so long to review. Hope you both enjoyed Liverpool 😀
